Hope season 2 focuses more on how the technology was developed and who helped them. Also I could see season 2 going to search for Tak's love.

I read the book a couple of weeks ago. The book was good but I like the tv series better. I wasn't excited for the main actor but he can play this part pretty well. In fact, I don't think he can only act this kind of part. I am six episodes in and it's a pretty good sci-fi. I would rate it 7/10.

I don't get how they can actually lock anyone up or kill anyone on this show?

The bald russian guy and the main actor were both "double sleeved" right?

So why wouldn't his sister be double sleeved in some beach resort or something too? Seems like those methusalas could afford to have as many sleeves running around as they want.

Just finished Episode 6.

I don't want to be the "The books were better" guy, but some of the changes they made to the plot just make things more confusing, and the book had a chit ton of twists to begin with.

Episode 4 was my favorite so farSpoiler!
The abuela being spun up in the body of a gangbanger, getting drunk on Tequila and cursing in front of the kids hahaha. Then Kovacs busting out of the torture chamber and inflicting real death on an entire building full of people AND half of the rescue party

I'm on episode 2 or 3. I like some of the characters, like Asian Takeshi, Poe, and Vernon Elliot seems to have an interesting story.

I guess the cool thing about the show is they can just fire Kinneman, or anyone, and replace them with a new 'sleeve'. I mean, he's not bad, just think the show could be better.

They confirmed Kinnaman's not coming back if they do a Season 2. His contract was one season & he's already signed up for some other TV show.

Not that it matters much - he bounces from body to body in the books, pretty much all the characters do. He's in a black man for most of book 2 (maybe 3), what will the SJWs be mad about now?

Just finished episode 6, really not liking the forced romance, seems so predictable and didn't really feel natural at all but worse of all the main character went from not giving a fuk about anything to some over sensitive beta, hate when directors do this, although i guess it was in the books too? idk. still like the show overall and hoping it'll pick up again.

Lol I watched the first episode and by the end I knew there would be fake outrage online as soon as I saw the Asian guy moved into a white males body..

Lo and behold outrage as Netflix is accused of whitewashing.. and then I saw in these articles that it's following the book.. but still they cried white washing.. LOL.. this world we live in.

Btw show seems pretty good

Also concur on Episode 4 being the GOAT of the show. I ordered the books will be here next month sadly though.

Watched first episode last night. Enjoying it but my only complaint is the dialogue seems quiet or muted even with higher volumes. Hard to catch what they are saying.

Really enjoying it though. Reminds me of "The Expanse" so far.
