I don't know why they rebooted this franchise and cast a black actor. It just seems like pandering. The original is going to be hard to top anyway. I guess it's true that Hollywood doesn't do anything new these days. It probably won't even be funny.

Making a big deal out of one review It's pretty much accepting there was an "issue" to begin with, that this movie was suppose to be "untouchable", for some "unknown reason".

I saw one bad review and It didn't explain very well why tho.

Lol at some of you miscers who apparently are just now aware of Rotten tomatoes negative review outrage. In case anyone forgot there was a reason why users can't respond to critics reviews anymore on that site. It's because the outrage for ANY negative review for "The Dark Knight" and "the Dark Knight Rises" was so massive a couple years ago. This isn't new that a bad review of a movie makes headlines, and in that case caused the website to change because of fans. This is small peanuts compared to what had happened before.

FYI the Paddington 2 that recently got released is the only movie I know of to get 100% on RT. Are we now calling it The best movie of all time? No. Just realize that the overwhelming majority of people who have seen the movie, like it. That's all rotten tomatoes means

I've chosen to ignore all the bickering surrounding this movie and instead just hope there are some black kids stoked to see a black superhero and are completely unaware of the nonsense perpetuated by adults. So hollywood basically puts out a black exploitation film and people are too stupid to realize it. People are acting like some vapid comic book movie is going to improve race relations in america. The only thing that this movie is doing is padding the wallets of hollywood execs.

Crying racism over every little thing needs to stop. This is starting to mirror modern feminism. Eventually people are going to get fed up and things are going to revert back to the 60s when real racism and sexism existed.

I legit smh when I saw that superbowl commercial using a mlk speech to sell trucks. He must be rolling in his grave to see what his legacy has become. Sometimes I wish I was born in europe or south america so I don't have to deal with the constant bs.
