Lol I only go because I don't have a home gym.

Never once have I purposefully socialized with someone @ the gym. I'm there to beat the **** out of myself and go home.
Are you not entertained?

I don't socialize at the gym but I still love the gym experience. I would never workout consistently in a home gym if the regular gym was the other option. I've got a piece of cardio equipment for home, and that has been my only home gym purchase. I've thought about getting one of those really versatile cable machines for the home. It wouldn't be for regular workouts, just times where I can't get to the gym for whatever reason.

It helps that I have been going to some really nice gyms. If it was the dungeon experience I'd probably just workout at home.

Yeah me either, and these days it's so packed. I go at 430 am and by 5 am it's already getting full. Can't even go in the evening because there are 200 ppl there

I think the other reason I really hate going is that the cities population has been booming in the last 5-7 years. However the capacity at the gym facilities never change. All I have to do is drive across town for work which normally takes 12 minutes, now is around 20 minutes due to traffic it all times of the day.
Same goes for the gym, such an influx of new people in the city and a limited option of gyms available.

My gym has a view of the beach and awesome HBBs. I'm not there to socialize, but the amazing views are motivating inbetween sets.

Like has been said, I go for the motivation and such. If I had a home gym, it would be depressing to me. Im a social creature, so I go for the experience, motivation it provides, and to work out. Don't chat a whole lot, but I will say hi and like interacting with people.

Exactly.

Dumbells are expensive as fuark but that's the only real expense if you train for strength.

Youre one of those sloots who loves going and doing dumbbell straight leg deadlifts in the middle of the free weight area aren't you?

If i didn't go to the gym I'd never leave my place except for work. So yeah I like going
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."
