in 4 years i'll be 24

I'm looking forward to being 50+ and being a suave, grey haired, distinguished, intellectual older gentleman (i think it's cool as fuk, srs)

There are no winners or losers in regards to age, so why stress? It's the most natural thing. Just be the best version of yourself. At any age

I age pretty well but I'm not in denial. I've made observations of the general age groups I hang around now. It's like old women with plastic surgery. yeah, you look somewhat better but your organs are old as fuk still. Maybe it's because I'm in an affluent area and that skews the observations. We're all having fun and a great time. I'm just saying, 40 is not the new 30 and 50 is definitely not although so many are acting like it.

The main thing about being old is the wisdom and life experience that you've gained. But how awesome would it be to have all that wisdom AND be in your 20s??
Yes, there are 30, 40, and 50 year olds out there running marathons, lifting, or doing bicycle races, and they're lying to themselves about how "young" they feel.

For one thing, your looks take a huge hit. Yeah, you can still be handsome but seriously them aesthetics are gone boyo. "But I am huge muscles and abs". Yeah, and your face still looks like a wrinkley, saggy landscape of age spots. Even worse if your upper lip has drooped into itself, your nose is bigger than it's ever been and hair line is back like a full moon tide slapped you in the head.

Not only that, but I'm noticing it more in my 30s, is that you start to blend more. As in, you become part of the background and it is harder to distinguish yourself visually from the other older guys. We all just start looking alike as if we're all in a faded watercolor portrait.

Then there are the pains of being older as in joints, old sports injuries, and general stiffness in all places except the place you could use more of it.

Conversations you start to hear from your peers revolves around urinary tract, cholesterol, or whatever other ailments affect us old men.

I generally like being old though.

lol, as I said:
Mind blown about the part where older guys are start to become alike seems to be true. Any guy who looks 40+ I don’t even consider competition in terms of the opposite sex. They are seem to dress alike same haircut or bald, and carry themselves the same way. Although physically they can still kick my ass. I don’t mind getting older but the fact that one day I won’t even be on women’s radar anymore is what scares me.

I think turning 29 might be harder than 30. It’s like your trying to cling on to the last of your youth before accepting your fate that your a full grown mature adult.

2 years to go to 50 crew checking in. Just lol at 20 somethings having panic attacks at their age. I'm not stressing at 48, even though the idea of saying "I'm 50" seems a little strange.

I think metabolism slowing the hell down at 30 is the biggest issue, and losing hair was the real biggest issue actually, if you still have your hair at 30, then I don't see any reason why you can't feel like you're 20, I still look young as hell but only with a hat on LOL. I'll be 30 next November... this ****ing thought is on my mind constantly, mostly cause I always saw myself being successful in my 20s but it didn't happen quite yet.

But one thing's true, it's how you FEEL. Age is just a number. Keep moisturizing

"Powerlifters shout at bodybuilders because bodybuilding produces mountains of muscle tissue with no functional purpose. Strongman competitors look down on powerlifters because there's more to strength than a one-rep max in three lifts performed with a minuscule range of motion. Olympic lifters, if you can find them, get to feel smug because every 4 years, you can turn on the TV at 3 AM and see them compete for gold. And everyone hates on CrossFit."

Brah, I get more pussy now that I'm bald than I ever did when I had hair. Finally having muscles and tattoos probably helps a bit though haha. I had plenty of confidence before I started balding but one day a few years ago I said F IT and shaved it all off. Now girls say "I couldn't even imagine you with hair". If you're skinny/fat and bald without a good face then it's definitely time to LDAR
