No militias required, you impose a nan for 1-2 years, and anyone seen with a gun will be issued a fine, noone will barge into their house to take it. they will eventaully run out of ammunition due to the termination of sales of guns and ammunition. if anyone chooses to risk their family and the future lives of their children and grandchildren for the sake of a mechanical object they are useless trash in the first place.

Angry about being expelled I think. It appears he had a history of making threats and had been singled out as a potential threat to the school last year.

Sounds like the bureaucracy might be the one at fault here. Everyone from the school administrators to the mental health professionals to the kids parents may be culpable.

Damn shame I lost all my guns and the thousands of rounds of ammo. There used to be a reloader around here somewhere, but I'll be damned if I knew where it walked off too. And LOL at not having the balls to post this with your main account. Would neg, but not worth it. You got negged at life I think.

I don't understand how banning AR's or "guns" solves this problem. You know how many loose AK-47's and other munition there is sitting in the homes of people in the post-war Balkan countries? A stupid amount, and I don't see any school shootings there. This is an issue that dwells much deeper than "guns did this", and I'm not even someone who gives a **** about owning a gun.

Are you sure about this? How certain are you you aren't being trolled? Were you able to access the page before the delete? Heavy reports the suspect started using that account in 2017, but they don't post the timestamps of the posts.

The Daily Beast interviewed students who knew himhttps://www.thedailybeast.com/nick-c...s-high-school:
“I knew him to be passive aggressive but not violent. He was rude to people. He had an act up like he was tough. He never got into, like, physical fights with anyone, but he did get into verbal arguments,” 17-year-old Ocean Parodie told The Daily Beast. “I just thought he dropped out of school, I didn’t think he would do anything. He always kept a low profile.”

“He was definitely not accepted at our school socially. People saw him as someone who was different than the normal people at our school,” Parodie added.

Douglas High has a place students call “the Emo Gazebo,” he said. “That’s where all the kids that are considered weird or not accepted sat. Kids at the Emo Gazebo didn’t even accept him there. He was just an outcast...He didn’t have any friends.”

Cruz always had his hair short and had a penchant for wearing patriotic shirts that “seemed really extreme, like hating on” Islam, Parodie said. The suspected gunman would also deride Muslims as “terrorists and bombers.”

“I’ve seen him wear a Trump hat,” the student said.

“Most kids ignored him at school. They pushed him off to the side as if he was garbage. He screamed in class one time. He was upset and just started yelling at the teacher. The teacher was trying to help him and he just took it the wrong way,” Parodie continued.
the student (Ocean Parodie) is a junior on the highschool's varsity football team apparently

we have a lot of people in the USA who will committ mass murder if they have access to guns if they're having a bad day.

Because of this fact, we should act on it to try to lessen those odds

Why would they run out of ammo? It doesn't have an expiration date. If people aren't allowed tousetheir guns, they wont be using the ammo. And if any ban happened, people would be less likely to waste their ammo. Also, you have heard of reloading, correct?

And whatever our society and government is right now, it will always and forever be exactly the same, even when every person has turned over due to retirement/old age/elections and even if/when the government obtained an absolute force monopoly

What, you mean you don't take a boat out into the Gulf of Mexico and dump 100 rounds over the side every day just-because, thus eventually running out?

Whats your point? What will you use in self defense when someone breaks into your house and attempts to kill your family? A baseball bat? Or maybe just tell them the police will be there in 10 minutes so they better run?

I'd rather be the one who controls the outcome of that situation. Maybe you want to take the chance they just want your TV and won't kill you but some of us don't.

It took one attack with a plane for us to completely change policy, restructure and regulate airplane security. Hasn't been a single plane attack afterwards here.

As i said this will be a gradual thing, most people will have guns for 10 to even 20 years from now. There is no fast solution to this as almost every household in america owns a gun at this moment. My proposition is to slowly stop the production of guns and ammunition and implement a Fine for anyone seen carrying a gun. And slowly as ammuntion runs out and the old guns get rusty and in need of repair, their will be an inevitable wipe out of guns. Once they are gone you will have to defend yourself using your fists and/or non lethal weaponry such as a baseball bat. Only in emergency cases.

mmmm all those unarmed victims. Juicy

BTW you clearly have no clue about how anything with firearms works lol

The most powerful rifle I own was designed in the 1800s, is decades older than I am, and still works perfectly using ammo older than my parents

Why do people think guns will be able to “defend” themselves from the government??? Do you know what year it is? Do you know what our military is capable of? This pre-20th century logic needs to be let go.
