I'm pretty sure I just answered that question. Not liking a movie because its a musical, western, sci-fi, etc. is one thing. Not liking it solely because its main character is a minority is something totally different.
Srs question since this is my problem with the entire bull**** surrounding this movie. I'm curious as to whether or not it's just mentally ill people making that sentiment or something larger in scale.

What if it's a minority playing a white character and vice versa?

The fight scenes sucked if you're into that and had some corny jokes. Otherwise it was amazing.

Politics of it:
The hero had a good head on his shoulders and the villain was a radical. Since everyone in the movie was black you weren't able to call the hero racist because he had different, more conservative views.

Dont assume its liberal propaganda if you didn't watch it. I went in expecting something totally different than what it was.

edit: haven't seen Winter Soldier so gonna have to take a look.
That actually sounds fking great

May go give it a watch today

IMO Civil War was way better. The story was better and had more mature subject matter. The main villain didn't even have powers. Just a plan.

Plus, Spiderman was GOAT in it. Consider giving it a watch. It's one of the better Marvel moves, and most of them are 6-7s for me

It was good, I liked the new Thor movie and this was more serious but just as entertaining.

The real question is what did these political/racial based bandwagon jumpers ever do for black panther before this movie? Did they buy the comics? Action figures? For almost 60 years what support did they offer. Black Panther is nerd culture and as a nerd its a good movie, keyword movie, not some cultural/political/racial documentary. I should have written this down sooner and gotten it off my chest.

So much this. I watch 13 Hours every few months and am always impressed. I think it’s fantastic and if anyone but Michael Bay had made it, it would have been heaped with awards.

It’s nice to see a movie where diversity is celebrated and we can all put aside our differences for a few precious hours to the tune of a $15 matinee.

Its not going to. Consider it another movie genre now. Its here to stay.

I feel bad for DC. Marvel breaking records with (once) 2nd and 3rd tier characters like Black Panther and Star-Lord and they can't make money with the fukcing Justice League.

I honestly thought it was a great movie. The story really captivated me. Definitely a top favorite along with the latest Thor, Guardians of the Galaxy 1+2 and Captn America.

Movie was definitely good although I still liked Winter Soldier and Spiderman more. It was definitely weird seeing a mostly all black cast (portrayed as Africans no less) movie on theatre screens pulling in huge numbers

Can you imagine how sad someone's life is if they decide what they like/don't like based off what another group likes or doesn't like

Also, guaranteed if you make some thread it'd be on some cuck chit tier sub 20% conservative leaning/appealing movie (think chit like country and war films, but chitty ones).

That being said make one then. Be the change you want to see in the misc instead of complaining like said liberals

I'm sorry this revelation is so upsetting to you. I haven't watched Game of Thrones, or The Walking Dead because people don't shut up about them - don't have an aneurysm

The most thought provoking movie I've ever seen is probably The Butterfly Effect (Original ending). Yeah, country and war man. I remember that time Ashton Kutcher's character had to plot a pincer attack on an outpost.

7/10 movie, 9/10 means it is like a masterpiece. It was a fun movie but lots of plotholes like most superhero movies. Also i was pissed that--- spoilers----

that a movie about an african hero turns into a civil war movie among africans. I thought movie was going to give hope, and it goes over the same thing that keeps happening in africa.
