It would be nice if we made more of an effort to understand each other instead of just automatically labeling the other person's way of thinking wrong. THe amount of miscers who call women retarded for liking magazines, Starbucks and shoes while also spending all their time fapping, playing video games and watching sports is just LOL to me.
None of those interests are particularly intellectual or enlightening but the female oriented ones are labelled retarded. Really, it's all retarded.

People with higher IQs, from what I've observed, are also much more likely to pursue hobbies that aren't stereotypical. My father (Princeton graduate), for example, is a straight man who loves and is heavily involved in musical theater. [He's also a vegan AND a Republican, which I find funny].

Once she sends you a picture you now own it. It's yours to do what you want.
If it's a picture she's posted publicly then again it's already something she's consented to.

Most of what you all claim is innate really isn't. Human beings are incredibly plastic in our potential behaviors, and a lot of the reasons we classify certain behaviors as "male" or "female" is because one of the things that IS innate in humans is our FIERCE need to conform to the group around us.
In short, if you behave like a bro stereotype, you're doing it to fit in. Likewise if you behave like a female stereotype as a woman.

We cannot directly attribute "liking sports" to "testosterone." That's oversimplified. Much of the discourse around hormones is. (And genetics, for that matter. We act as if one gene can dictate some very specific behavior, and that's just not the case).

Gender and biology do not dictate our behavior, as if we were automatons ruled by rigid programming, but are rather always complexly interrelated with our environment and situation.

Please inform me.
1. How men can watch so many hours of sports in one stretch. 4 hrs max for me.
2. Why there isn't more education on how to control your penis. We have info galore on what to do in a bear or shark attack. So many men have issues with cheating or fapping or ed or quick or too long ejaculation but it seems like everything available to you is a pill or broscience. Seems unfair.
3. Why do men bully their friends? The language seems aggressive. I know men report feeling lonely, which is one reason they love women, because they can be more vulnerable without the judgement.
4. Some men make fun of women for their differences - weak, emotional, unambituous. But when these same men see a woman who is strong, logical and ambitious, she is also ridiculed for having those qualities. Do you think men know what they want? Or are they as paradoxical as women?
TLDR: Need a dictionary, boring, OP clueless about men

I think it is a real problem that we are so adversarial about this. I typically hear mostly men discussing innate gender difference with real passion. Women want to deny it. At this point I want to discuss what stakes we each have here. men, I think, want to protect the status quo (their higher status, tbh). Women want to take some power for themselves by claiming they have much of the same potential men have. In that sense, it's a power struggle, and the truth can become captive to agendas.
I try to maintain some degree of remove from these biases, but of course it's not entirely possible. I want to note here that I've never rejected the idea of differences between gender. It's obvious they are there. I just think there are not as many mental differences as we presume, nor are the mental differences so rigid. I base this on both experimental data and personal experience as an educator.
Physically, there are obviously differences between men and women, which is one reason why I definitely think we need both men's and women's sports in competition. But mentally, I think it's murkier. That's all. I think we most often stop at the level of what an old philosophy professor of mine called "folk psychology"--that is, things we consider "common sense" but have no true foundation.

I'm saying that science--the proper practice of science--MEANS allowing for flexibility and skepticism. Science is not a rigid thing, it's a practice that involves constantly testing assumptions.
You can call my skepticism "liberal nonsense," but that's just another symptom of the larger problem, which is the tendency to regress to labels and name-calling instead of rational debate.

It's that kind of 'joy of victory, agony of defeat' - and it can be both very pleasurable and addictive.1. How men can watch so many hours of sports in one stretch. 4 hrs max for me.

It's like when guys ejaculate quickly the first few times they are with a woman and then they can hold back much longer - ejaculating at will at some point.2. Why there isn't more education on how to control your penis. We have info galore on what to do in a bear or shark attack. So many men have issues with cheating or fapping or ed or quick or too long ejaculation but it seems like everything available to you is a pill or broscience. Seems unfair.

It's an expression of friendship - it's the sort of 'brahdom' that some women find so annoying because, deep down, those specific women desire that so deeply but don't have it, and/or feel like they'll never get it.3. Why do men bully their friends? The language seems aggressive. I know men report feeling lonely, which is one reason they love women, because they can be more vulnerable without the judgement.

But when these same men see a woman who is strong, logical and ambitious, she is also ridiculed for having those qualities. Do you think men know what they want? Or are they as paradoxical as women?
