I just spent 10 days in total silence meditating for 10+ hrs/day. AMA [srs] [kugon]

Went to a retreat out in the wilderness and meditated for more than 10 hours a day.

The rules are the retreat are:
no speaking or any body communication with other meditators, total silence
no looking at anyone else
no taking your shirt off/sunbathing. even shorts have to be below the knee.
not allowed to take books or anything like that
no phone
all vegetarian food. 2 meals a day

wake up at 4:30am, meditate intermittently until 9:30pm
to the best!

squat 440
deadlift 440

How much did you pay for this experience?

Don’t have to plan any activities, just enforce quiet time and only provide two cheap veggie meals? Probably to a bunch of rich yuppies?

Pure profit.

No bias opinion where you convince yourself it was not a waste of time and tell us how great it was, was it worth?

Did you activate your third eye?
Did you see geometric patterns?
Did you see any other “beings”?

One of my bros did the vipassana retreat too, said was dope (although he cheated by staying in a tent outside and reading a book time to time LOL).

Might do it this summer or whenever I'm free, heard its life changing.

What were the main benefits and things you learnt/got out of it brah?

How do you feel?

Your dopamine receptors must be restored making you way more sensitive to everything.

Couldn't pull that off I think. Sounds extremely difficult.

After about 30 minutes of nothingness I'd probably find a quiet spot to go jerk off. Rinse and repeat about 6 times per day. IE after 10 days my dick would be numb and the only thing I'd be thinking about is food and fukking.

I don't get how people can just 'meditate' for longer then 15 minutes or so.
