We are witnessing the death of an industry...Hollywood is already in trouble and Box office sales are in steep decline. This will potentially be the final nail in the coffin if it spreads in Hollywood.....

Are you sure it doesn't mean 50% of the people working on the movie must be 50% minorities, as in grips, sound crew, etc. Not the cast itself. You could have an all white cast but the rest of the production be unworthy women and minorities?

So what is an inclusion rider? As Stacy Smith, who researches gender equality in film and television at the University of Southern California, has put it, it’s the idea that A-list actors have the ability to stipulate in their contracts that diversity be reflected both onscreen and in “below the line” positions, where women, people of color, and members of L.G.B.T. communities are traditionally underrepresented...
