We are witnessing the death of an industry...Hollywood is already in trouble and Box office sales are in steep decline. This will potentially be the final nail in the coffin if it spreads in Hollywood.....
The last hope of the movie industry was 3D films which was supposed to drive people back in the theaters....which didn't happen.

cant wait for them to cry over this
its the same as women having no problem sucking off a producer but once they get famous from it, they are mad at someone but themselves for being a whore.

How about we fix the issues with Hollywood as a whole?
It's not my intent to discuss a quantitative representation. I'm arguing for a qualitative representation.
I completely support AA for schools, FYI. The affects of AA, in general, are overblown, and almost every argument against AA is rooted in a poor understanding of AA.
Failure to equivocate. Things have changed now, I was talking past tense.
Men are both the protagonist and antagonist of the stories. Notice how you automatically attributed these lead roles to men, and not women.
Lmao at you.

Are you sure it doesn't mean 50% of the people working on the movie must be 50% minorities, as in grips, sound crew, etc. Not the cast itself. You could have an all white cast but the rest of the production be unworthy women and minorities?

That will make the movie awful.

Inclusion Rider
https://mobile.nytimes.com/2018/03/0...rider.amp.html
https://mobile.nytimes.com/2018/03/0...rider.amp.html
So what is an inclusion rider? As Stacy Smith, who researches gender equality in film and television at the University of Southern California, has put it, it’s the idea that A-list actors have the ability to stipulate in their contracts that diversity be reflected both onscreen and in “below the line” positions, where women, people of color, and members of L.G.B.T. communities are traditionally underrepresented...
She said a typical inclusion rider would set benchmarks for diversity in staffing. As an example, it could require the cast be 50 percent female, 40 percent underrepresented ethnic groups, 20 percent people with disabilities, and 5 percent L.G.B.T. people. The idea, she said, would be to ensure “the world onscreen looks like the world in which we live.” It would also require that there be “a good-faith effort to ensure representation in key areas behind the camera” and that “bias is corralled in the interviewing and hiring process,” she said.

It's silly virtue signalling.
Imagine if people tried this outside of Hollyweird.
brb not taking a job working construction unless 52% of fellow tradies are women
brb not taking a job figure skating unless 98% of fellow figure skaters are straight
brb not taking a job as a pro surfer unless 25% of fellow surfers are black
