No, I'm defending my opinion and stating facts, don't need to be lifting for 15 years to be able to read research, but I see your point.

Ottermode takes a decent amount of work for some people. I see what you mean though. A lot of us used to think that Brad Pitt looked big in Fight Club and Snatch, watch those flicks now and he looks scrawny. Also, different genetics/frames/goals=different physiques.

Nah, just tall. Because food was scarce, most people didn’t grow properly. 6’3 was a giant back then. And most people didn’t eat enough to gain significant muscle or strength. And were sickly.

Well-fed 6’3, even if chubby, was way stronger back then.

You pinpointed the issue. There's a world of difference between theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Again, humility will guide.

I would argue that yes weight does make a big difference along with the right frame.

I got pretty lean as fuk around 143 lbs but by the time I got that shredded nobody really could tell I lifted. In pictures I'd look pretty juicy and look great (see avi) but in person I get framemogged often. I felt great being shredded but standing next to the bloatmaxxers at the gym I was overshadowed. Still one of the bigger dudes at my HS though. Granted I am 5''7 so I am fukt when it comes to frame regardless but in all seriousness I did get a lot more attention when I was 190 lbs with my shirt on. Actually, most of the attention at 190 lbs is bros telling me how fuking jacked I was (lol @ jacked when I was in reality 20% bf). The attention I get at 143 lbs is little but when I do it's girls trying to hit me up (srs)

Shirt off is a different matter but I don't get the opportunity to whip my shirt off even if it's summer, unless it's the beach.

I've got my shirt on nearly 95% of the time, so...

Weight matters, brahs.

The body helps, but an attractive face and glowing skin tone does far more. Plus, I swim a lot. No coast where I am, but lots of pool parties. Women are attracted with shirt on or shirt off. Not sure how you guys that are leaned out look "DYEL". Aren't you vascular at all times? Are your forearm muscles not completely separated and mesmerizing women when they move about??

Yeah frame is underrated on here. If you look at the 1947 BB contest measurements they all had 7-8 inch wrists. A guy with sub 6 inch wrist with a small frame will never look as big as a random bro who has big bones.

small frame/bones with low bodyfat and no technology plan will always look small in a shirt.

"I can see my abs" means anywhere from 0-20% bodyfat depending on how you define "abs" and how hard you flex/how delusional you are.

Lets talk in BF% people, its a much better metric.

Getting shredded is cool.

I was happy when I finally got down to a low BF% but hated how twink I looked and even more how small I looked.

Goal is to be around 215-220 at around 15%. I'm 6ft and at about 204 right now (Cutting) Hoping to stop cutting at 190 as I feel Im already leaning out pretty well. But we shall see.

Yeah, I didn't really have enough muscle mass to nearly support the leanness I was going for. Guess I should rephrase it - cause that's what I meant.

Having sufficient muscle mass at a lower bf% is crucial.

Can't deny though that for people with similar or identical muscle mass standing next to eachother..one guy shredded while the other is a bit fluffy, the shredded one will look smallerin a shirtwhich is what I'm getting at. This is all a game of illusions. Going lower bf% usually means you're not going to always be as full and saturated with glycogen and **** but all the cuts and definition will be there when the shirt is off which makes it seem like you're bigger just because the eye is drawn to all of those striations whereas the bulked up guy is a bit softer/meshed together.

It was fun being shredded back in the day but the dieting to make that happen on a level that is stage worthy...it was just not sustainable and having a regular life. And my regular life I'm talking even normal chit like work...everything you do is focused on just getting shredded. Plus my dick stopped working which wasn't fun...

Now I do chit like this about an hour ago...

lol your just implying that the fluffier guy and the shredded guy are both wearing the same xl shirt

meanwhile this is 2018 and if your fluffy chances are your clothes are bit baggy meaning looking less muscular and shapely

the shredded skinnier guy if he lifts most likely wont be wearing baggy clothes in the first place(how many shredded natty lifters you see wearing baggy clothes)

all in all, the athletic guy will still look athletic and the fluffy guy will look like he should..FLUFFY. If were being realistic.
Big facts only.

I can respect that ottermode takes work depending on where someone is coming from. But if you are already skinny and are trying to justify that "barely lifts" look as something impressive, you're going to get laughed at by a lot of people.

I know I know it's not about what others think. IMO for the majority, ottermode is just coping with chit work ethic and dedication. I started at 155lbs and am still growing every month
