Would pack and leave him immediately cause I'm sure he is average and looks bad. What this world has come to, 4/10 dude shaming his gf and telling her she has a beer gut. On the other side, 10/10 guy never said 1 thing to me about eating ice cream, doing whatever I wanted, skipping gym when I did not wanted to go with him or on my period, cooked healthy for me after bloatmaxx during vacation where I eat only French fries and mayo, so I gain 3-4 kilos, etc. I think the ones who look bad are the worst critics.

I can see it being a problem if both couples lifestyles are not fitness related.

I've told my wife that she is getting heavy before and it does make her sad. But she is tough and it doesn't affect our marriage.

The reason why i bring it up, is because we both live a healthy fitness worldview. So it's a problem if she is eating and living unhealthy. I've told her that i won't leave her over weight gain that was caused from pmsd meds or the pregnancy. I know that she can bounce back and she those pounds afterwards.

In other words. She isn't a SJW crybaby. She can take the harsh crit from me and i will help her to get here. I will not tolerate her eating fast food and being lazy. Just like she wouldn't tolerate it from me.
