There is a hole in the wall restaurant in San Fran called The House. Asian cuisine. Very very good. I ate there about a dozen times when I was on the west coast.

Definitely go see Land's End! Probably one of my favorite trails in all of northern California. For a short trip, you could start at baker beach and walk over to the golden gate to watch the sunset on the bunkers. The whole west coast of SF is gorgeous. I recommend taking a car over there and driving to a few different parts. all good coastline. The zoo is near there too.

For shopping and eating; Haight & Ashbury is great. Lots of cool shops. If you are into crystals, there is a really good shop on Haight & ashbury called The Love of Ganesha. My favorite tapas resturant is there too. It's called Cha Cha Chas. They are only open for dinner, and get there early to make sure you get a table.

Ghirardelli square is awesome too! You can go there for dessert. and then walk out to their pier. if you go to the end, you can see the golden gate & the bay bridge on either side. really nice view.

Delores park is also really nice, but there's lots of people smoking weed and doing weird **** out there lol.

Twin peaks is a nice view where you can see all of san fransico.

I like walking down the piers near AT&T park. It is cool being right under the bay bridge. It is so huge. nice parks over there.

if you like seafood, Crustacean is a really nice upscale restaurant. I recommend the jumbo prawn garlic noodles! I get them every time. My family always gets the crab or lobster though.

If you're going to fishermans wharf, take the trolley from union square. Nice views of the city and up and down all the big hills. Was especially hnnng at night.

If you want some good korean food go to toyose, it's more of later in the day/night eat tho. And it's near the beach and all the coffee/surf shops if youre into that during the day.

Drive a little bit north to Sonoma or Napa for a day trip. Visit the wineries and the magnificent houses/estates/architecture, maybe have a few drinks, get lunch in-between.
I'm planning a trip to Napa in June to just LDAR by a pool and get wine-drunk for a few days

San Francisco is one of the best food cities in the country, there's thousands of restaurants for every niche and taste. I don't think you can really go wrong with any of them if you spend a few min googling their aggregate review scores/stars. Lots of good happy hour oyster options.

I should mention that I'm not huge on seafood, but will smash all burgers, ice cream, and candy. I'm totally open to trying some new flavors though.

Another cool thing to do that doesn't take too long is to go to treasure island. I like to go there at night because you can see the whole city lit up across the bay. There's usually a churro vendor to warm you up if it is chilly.

I try to avoid the tenderloin because it's madness there, but union square is cool. some nice bars. City Hall and the public library are there if you are into big buildings or libraries.

Fort Mason and the Marina district are really nice and cool!! If i think of anything else I will let you know.

Definitely hit the piers for a nice walk one day. Cool atmosphere, shops, street food and massive sea lions barking at you lol. Srs though it's a pretty cool walk to take and you can see Alcatraz in the distance, and I think you can still take tours of it...?

pier 39 has a few decent restaurants and cool shops, plus it's just a short walk to some sweet sea lions who chill on floating jetties all day. ghirardelli square can be pretty nice at night. lots of druggies, stay out of tenderloin. the golden gate bridge park/gift shop area is nice, windy and chilly though. weather seems closer to seattle than anywhere else in california. if your family has dogs, fort funston is a nice public beach where you can take them off leash
