Without even reading the thread i'm guessing I can about sum up what the misc says mostly. It's not a gun problem, it's a mental problem. Oh, it's in a no gun zone go figure. Pretty much anything other than how easy it is for these kids to get access to guns. About sum it up?

How about the media stop using dead kids and tragedy as an opportunity to support their political platform? Why not just report the ****ing news?

Exactly it's a lazy approach at best. If a teacher can't tell the difference between boys busting each others balls and a group of kids bullying 1 kid, they shouldnt be educating our children.

These shooters need to be made an example of... Now I am against the death penalty as I believe many men still to this day serve jail time for crimes they did not commit...

However, when you murder 10+ children and your only punishment is jail, you need another deterrent. You make it so these people KNOW that they will be living a life of pain and suffering for what they have done.. Not saying I know what that answer is, but something more extreme is necessary

If you do that they'll just think of something else to do that doesn't result in extreme torture/punishment

These kids that do these mass murder do not care about their future or their own lives. They are trapped in their bubble of resentment and animosity that they just don't give af.

I don't think any punishment would stop these mentally ill people. Best deterrent would be to not publicize their name.

Here in PA, the teachers unions run everything.

They will strike bc they have to pay a 25$ copay, or bc they're obligatory raise isn't coming thru, but teachers don't strike to get metal detectors,or heavy duty magnetic locks,bullet proof glass... actual security measures.

No body Takes first aid lessons, or does any real planning. The preparedness level for something like this, on a wide spread level, is a joke. No one cares until it happens.

The schools hold all these rah rah anti bully campaigns, sign a pledge nonsense. It's a joke.

CYS doesn't do anything either. Kid comes to school with bedbugs, covered in filth. Parents take no effort in raising children so they get placed in for profit alternative schools for troubled kids which basically bridges the gap from school to prison.

Add on to this all the ADHD meds...its scary.

My girlfriend is starting at a school this fall, in Texas. Will provide her with a full first aide kit like I had in Iraq and will personally drill her how to ensure her and her kids aren't a statistic bc no one else cares.

School shootings are the 'popular' thing to do nowadays. It makes national news and can effect federal and state laws.

Remove the no gun zones, let teachers carry, stop giving the shooters attention, and eventually the fad will fade.

I am not giving up my rights because the actions of criminals. If you do that you will eventually find yourself a defensless soy boy that can't even own a pointy knife, or allowed in parks as a single male because you're a ****phile until proven otherwise, or allowed to use public transportation because your govt social standing isn't high enough.
