Just looked on SigTalk and there are now several multi-page threads on bad trigger bar springs. Seems to be a new issue every couple weeks. Issues that completely disable the gun, not just cosmetic crap.

Mine has 1k rounds of perfect function.

But if I could waive a magic wand and tell my past-self everything I currently know about the gun, etc, I would tell myself not to buy it. Because I still can't trust it.

The scary part about this gun is your 1K flawless rounds don't mean jack chit. Because of the hundreds of reports that any given shot might be the last well beyond that point. lol

It wouldn't have changed anything.

You would have Fargued with yourself and got it anyway. Same as with WWB ammo.

Made the same point to someone a while back that was talking about so many hundred or thousand rounds before he would be confident in it. But given all of the problems it's had, it seems more of a matter of when, not if. And each successive round is just that much closer to when, making it even more likely to fail when you need it.

LOL . . . Sig.

And yet the company still sits on its collecive hands and pretends there are no issues and doesn't get proactive about fixes. My gut reaction was to give it a year or so before checking one out . . . but after all the issues, I'm not even sure I'll ever seriously consider a P365.

I was never a Sig fan. That being said, these last two debacles have convinced me to stay far, far away.

I'm at a little over 1k rounds in mine as well now. Not a single issue. Love everything about it. Still not carrying it.... Maybe at 5k I'll feel comfortable (originally told myself 1k) or I'll sell it...

Kinda makes you wish another manufacturer would step up to the plate and make a reliable very subcompact 9mm with higher capacity than the usual 6 or 7+1. That has to be the holy grail of gun sales if you get it right. I'm sure SIG will sell all they can make even with some bad press in the gun forums most people don't ever venture into.

I don't shoot as often as most of you guys do but I'll update when I get there. I really hope it's good, love this little gun.

It's not even the size vs capacity either, the grip texture, stock sights, and trigger are all better than any of the competition. It shoots very well, better than a Shield with Talon grip tap, night sights, and an Apex kit. While also being smaller and holding more rounds.

But, so many break, and there's no telling what it will be or when. And more than it should be seem to have some sporadic function problems too like just simply failing to extract etc

This. Even if my Shield was similar size and had the same capacity by some magic, the 365 would still be better. Stock sights are basically perfect for what it is, trigger is better than full size sigs which already have a better than average trigger and the grip texture is perfect.

And just like you said the sporadic problems are scary because of course that will happen when you really need it and you'll have a split second of regret and sig hate before you're killed.
