Honestly, Even the base TP9 models chit all over the VP9, PPQ, pretty much all others than i can think of other than the P10c. They are that ****ing good. and at that price it is straight retarded. Quality is just as high from what i'm reading.. CHF barrels, strong slide finish, etc. people are reporting good results at 12,000+ rounds.
So yes, I had to drive 6 hours back and forth today just to hunt one down. For the price of ~500. you just can't go wrong. Comes with 4 plates for optics, a feasible holster. green and red high vis fibre optic replacements.
Best kept secret in the gun industry IMHO.

But yea they are alright. I shot a Q5 and was meh about it. Ergos kinda weird, bore higher than I like and a bit flippy. Trigger is awesome but if shooting fast you don’t notice a good trigger and short reset all that much. Nice for shooting slow groups though.
But it’s good you got to shoot a bunch of guns and found the one that you like. Build quality on these seems really good. I think I like the ergos better than the walthers too.

Meh, TP9 has nice oem trigger (Apex trigger in M&P destroys it still).
All the TP9’s I handled felt cheap. Gun is overall nothing special IMO.

Brb, epic oem trigger means **** because you can drop another 200 bucks on some elite aftermarket trigger on a grungy M&P
then you get prosecuted and sent to jail if you ever have to use it in a defensive scenario, because of 'dangerous modding of a firearm'

I’ve been drinking four roses small batch. All of the four roses stuff is legit. Been trying to buy some Blanton’s but my shop gets like a bottle or two a month.
Have we done this guy shooting his dink off yet? I have this exact same carry setup. Yikes.

I actually shot an M&P 2.0 with an aftermarket trigger, wasn't an apex. can't recall what it was but the reset was VERY punchy and the trigger pull was light. seemed like the punchy reset weighed more than the actually trigger pull. I really liked it, alot. but i wont ever, NEVER drop a single penny on S&W ever again.

As for the bit flippy and don't notice the awesome trigger when shooting fast, that's spot on, and why I still easily shoot Glocks more quickly and accurately close and fast than anything else. The trigger is perfectly great for typical civilian defensive type shooting and the recoil is nice and flat and right back on target asap. 5 yards as fast as you can into a pie plate or A zone or -0 or whatever...Glock wins, always faster for the given accuracy.

It’s a marketing thing that was brought on by Glock. And I love Glock but people fell for that chit.

I have a friend over right now.
I always ask him to tell me the top 5 carry guns and then I tell him the top 5 CC firearms are: 5.) glock 19 4.) glock 19 and so forth
Today he comes in saying you haven’t asked me what the 5 are so let me tell you: 5.) cz p10c 4.) cz p10c and so forth.

You seriously have to be legitimately retarded to buy or trust their striker fired products. Hard stop.I hammer the P365 a lot . . . and rightfully so. But, it's really a shame to see a company chit the bed on an innovation like that. Sounds like some corners cut for cost (strikers), not enough testing, etc. It's just not a gun I could trust without some significant changes and an about-face from Sig that they effed up and need a strong response to address the shortcomings proactively.
A company with strong leadership & principles would come out and say, "we feel the issues with strikers is isolated . . . but the failures reported and the doubts that puts in owner's minds is unacceptable. Because of this we're switching to a redesigned striker (stainless??) and offering to replace for any P365 owner at no cost. We'll either ship one to you free or accept returns and we'll replace for you."
But . . . this is modern Sig.

At this point, if you buy a striker fired SIG, you deserve whatever failures befall you.
Note: for those SIG shills that don't understand that "Everyday" is incorrect in the context SIG is using it, "befall" means "happen to".

(I apologize if I have the situation wrong, but I think your father cheated on your mother? If not, I felt like my story was applicable when I read your OP but forgot to respond, so just adjust it to your situation as necessary.)Thanks for sharing that man. I told them both last night that I think they should consider marriage counseling before calling it quits. It seems worth a shot before just being done after 31 years of marriage...
A few years back, like 2008ish, my father hooked up with another chick and is still with her today. When the family found out what was happening, my mom was understandably upset and they separated. They aren't legally divorced because that probably costs money and our family didn't have much of that (this is relevant later).
It was extremely difficult at first. It's hard to accept that your father would do that to your mother. I think we're all on the same page that cheating on your significant other is just a chit thing to do. Plus it's your mom. So you double hate that the person did that.
But at the same time, I remember all the times my father was there for me. For a significant portion of my life, my father was either a truck driver or dispatcher who worked nights, so I remember hugging him when he came home in the morning as I left for school or whatever. Or trying to stay kinda quiet so he could sleep while I watched X-Men on weekend mornings. He encouraged me to be something better. He supported me through whatever sporting events I enrolled in. Helped me with homework. Etc. As an adult now who has a job and understands the value of a dollar, I'm mind blown by some of the Christmases I've had based on what my parents made (previously mentioned relevance).
While I absolutely detest what he did to my mother, my father was always a father to me. As a 33 yr old man, I'm still teary eyed talking...typing about this. The relationship between my father and my mother deteriorated, but I don't think he ever wanted that fallout to reach us, his children. It obviously does, but in the end, he still had a major part in shaping me into who I am today. I don't ever want to follow down that same path he did, but many of the valuable lessons I learned came from him. And even though I hate that he hurt my mother, I can't replace that.
