They are crying because they know what their future holds. Those arent tears of joy.
"To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

I've never understood this phenomenon. Like, is it because they put her in so much makeup and hair crap, that she doesn't look like she normally does?

Crying is a bit much but it's better than standing there like an emotionless *******. Cracking a smile would do tho.

At least two out of three of them get cheated on at some point, I can guarantee it.

This. I feel the same way.

Iโ€™m getting married soon and I donโ€™t see myself crying like a baby but itโ€™s a very big moment in life, that is if youโ€™re a traditionalist like myself.

reasons they are crying:

-They are experiencing overwhelming love in that moment.

or

-cost of wedding, impending sexless life, knowing she has probably settled and still thinks about the chad she fooked whilst they were on a 'break', remembering how slim she was when they first met...etc etc

My best man joked with me before she came down the aisle saying " If you cry, I will kick you in the balls in front of all these people"...I legit lol'd at this even being a possibility.

If I am alive when my daughter gets married, if her future husband cries when I start walking her down the aisle, I will stop and take her back.

I went to a good friend's wedding a little over a year ago and he cried his ass off while saying his vows. The women there loved it while his friends and me laughed our asses off. We all gave him a hard time as we got ****faced. Weddings can be awesome.

I didn't even think of crying.. didn't even stutter on vows like a lot of people do. Mind was clear as could be.

Probably because we spent $40 on the wedding, and that was only for the Deacon dude to do the damn thing.
