Don't get the hate for owning a Panamera Turbo, or why people think that owning it means you should roll over and take a beating for someone else's mistake.
It was posting the certificate of authenticity that made me feel like fuking with him tbh.

Of course he should pursue full value.

I posted the certificate because someone specifically asked the value, not to measure my dick.

Update:

Just left porsche dealership getting diminished value estimate and they printed out paperwork of without damage on car report and with it, there is almost a 10k difference. I’ll put the picture of print outs when I’m home and update original post. It’s basically 150 something k without damage, 140s with it

Why do you say this..If insurance pays for it, it shows up on a car fox. If its on a car fox a dealership/person is going to reduce the value...

I know I've personally pulled a car fox on multiple previously owned vehicles and pressured a private buyer to lower price. I've turned several cars down because of fender benders that they didnt have information/receipts about the damage. I dont see a scenario which this doesnt hit OP with devaulation. Any vehicle with a car fox report is harder to sell. Thats why there are dealerships that fix cars in house and dont report.

There is a healthy and thriving legal industry for taking insurance companies to court for depreciation..Why does the type of legal practice exist if there wasnt precedent for seeking/rewarding damages?

This is the wrong forum to ask serious car questions, especially Porsche. Head over to Rennlist or Pelican and get some real advice. I'd absolutely seek diminished value. Replacing the driver's door at a Porsche approved bodyshop to factory standards will cost at least 5k. Make sure you keep before/after photos of the rears for documentation.

Fuark mirin car, one of my all time favourite vehicles. Hopefully you'll get it sorted and the outcome is reasonable. All I can add is, if you are unhappy with the repair job at any garage, you can send it back indefinitely. I sent one of my cars back 3 or 4 times since they did an atrocious job, new part was wavy all over the place, paint was off etc. I hate people half-assing things.

It's the bitch made way to to go but it seems the only way to get any customer support these days.

I did it to sprint and had a brand new phone waiting for me at the store the next morning.

I know phone =/= car but it's worth a shot.

That's funny considering it's almost worth exactly what I said it'd be yet some moron ITT was saying that I must've been trolling with my guesses.

He's lucky he's on spread too cause I'd fire a neg right up his ass.

Yeah I think it was just the way that you said it that he thought you were being sarcastic or an ass probably because other people were doing such idk, I didn't take it that way.

That's about 20k under the MSRP that I posted though, so I don't think that's bad at all with the fact that once you drive a new car off the lot its worth less right then and there, although this is what the dealer would offer me if I was to turn it in today/soon as repairs are done, I'm sure it could be valued higher private selling but that's far from the point. Just the simple fact the damages are 5 figures diminished wise, I think it would be ridiculous to not have a problem with that although people are talking as if i should just chalk up the loss lol.
