I think Croatia matchup well in midfield obviously with Rakitic and Modric, but the difference will be the defense. Varane is fuking world class, and Umtiti is on a high after scoring vs Belgium. I think it will be a great game I was going for 1-0 France, but with mandzukic scoring vs england. He finally has some confidence, and will notch one. 2-1 to France.

France may have better defense than England but Croatia was running circles around English defenders. What they lack in skill, they make up in sheer will and conditioning. To me this is as close to even match as it can be despite the skill difference on paper and being on an insane high after these last games will imo give Croatia enough advantage to take this one as well

Yeah brah, France is 10x better than that trash England side. I'd say neither Croatia or England would've passed the quarter finals if they played on the left side of the bracket.

That said, France choked hard against a Portugal with no Ronaldo in the Euro 2016 final so we'll see if they will do the same

That's because England's defense isn't all that great Kyle Walker is not suited in a 3 back formation. He's better as a RB in a 4 man defense. Harry Maguire good on the air, and on the ball, but too slow. Stones is a great defender and player all around. That's why Croatia was running circles. I don't see them running circles on Umtiti, and Varane. The game will be won in midfield, and I can see France counter attack being too strong.

True that France side tho didn't have the secret weapon that is Mbappe. If France choke hard it will be because of Giroud, and him missing like 6 sitters. At least hes a good target man, and holds up the ball well to bring in Griezmann.

right now I'd say france has a 70-30 chance to win.

they have an overall better team, minus giroud (aka "the fukkin stump"). croatia played 3 extra times, so a full game more, and 2 penalties that are emotionally and mentally draining, plus a day less for recovery. since the boys already made history by entering in the final and surpassed the generation of 1998, noone's gonna give them chit at home if they lose, unless it's a 7-1 game or something equally embarrassing.

then again it's the final match and anything can happen, if they start playing like fanatics it could be an interesting game.

I definitely think you're right about France being the Favorites, but Croatia seems to have a great second wind that should keep it interesting.

Probably about correct, you'll need your midfield to really takeover to have any chance. A lot of that depends on Pogba, he could have a world class game or could go completely missing you never know with him
