Jos A. Banks generally marks down their suits and jackets constantly. If you waited you can actually snag a blazer <$70. Honestly, i think their stuff is overpriced at $40. I would stay away from the blazer and jeans combo, def hard to pull off. If you are going that route my suggestion is to use dark jeans with your outfit, because the dark jeans looks similar to dress pants.

I purchased two JAB supreme "signature collections" suits to not GAF about, and spent $175 in total. For beaters, they have a good qualityrice ratio.

I agree with the jeans and blazer comment. Dark jeans are for sure the way to go

I will say this for JAB.....I have never had a good experience there. The customer service is awful and the way they price things and the way things go on "sale" frustrates me. You can usually get suits for $100-$150 each. That being said I have 4 suits from them. 2 I wear when I just need a suit (I only need them for special events etc as my business doesn't require me to wear one) The 3rd suit is a seersucker suit I ended up getting for $90 and bought it for one wedding, knowing I will wear it only once. The last suit is a black tuxedo I got for $150. That was the biggest pain in the azz purchase and I needed it for a black tie wedding- similar to the seersucker, I will probably not wear it many times going forward.

The suits are cheap and the fabric/craftsmanship arent that nice. The rest of their clothes are not worth it either...You might get away with buying a wool overcoat or something like that but There are far better deals on chinos and polos elsewhere. It is a good place for your first suit or for a beginner type suit but if you are really looking for something to last, save some money and spend a bit more. You can get a rather high quality suit for $600-$800 (always look for sales). Thats just my opinion- hope it helps.

I bought 3 blazers from JAB, all of them were $70. You just have to bookmark it and wait until the prices drop or there's a sale.

I wish. My JJ bag carries my stuff I would normally carry in my pockets, plus jj essentials.
I clip nails in the bathroom before practice, though I admire those who are out of touch with social norms who do it in public. It's always crazy to see that happen in public

Meh, they didn't seem too bad but the qc is hit or miss. I had ordered a pair of captain boots and they arrived creased as chit, sent them back.

You can usually find better for the money if you're patient, ae shoebank/red wing seconds/sagara/gustin or holiday sales

i've been rocking these for a few year now. I dont think the newer versions are as good as when I bought them, but if you hit them with some black shoe polish and rub it in they'll look way better srs
