If you click on "Workout Plans", you have to join "All Access" for $9/month. You can find some workouts or plans in the Articles section.

You know you’re old when:

“Back in my day, you didn’t need to PAY for fitness plans on B.B.com! You just looked them up and they even came with a meal plan! What a world.”

Seriously though, that’s ****ed up.

It's not that I need a plan. I mostly do my own now but I was just looking for ideas to slowly get back into shape after my surgery. Found something to works for now.

My heart is broken. I had to put down my dog Tank tonight. 12 years of faithful loyalty and protection for the entire family and all. It was rather sudden and I held him until he slept.

I'm so sorry. It's good he was in your arms till the end, so important. (I actually teared up when I typed that)

I have a pug that is almost 15, he's going downhill fast...so I'm pretty much in the same boat as you. Once he quits eating, I'm going to do what I have to do. He is deaf, pretty much blind and his rear legs are shot...but he still gets excited when I come home and still has a bit of life in him. I struggle with if I am just avoiding what I need to do, daily...but he doesn'tseemto be in much pain. It's hard, for sure.

Tug was 14
We got a German Shepard puppy back in 2013 and he would play by stomping on the backs of my pug and bulldog
I wonder if he hurt the pugs back permanently
He had trouble controlling his bowels, but still like to eat and hang out
One day I noticed he couldn’t every get comfortable
The next day, had trouble even laying down, once he got down, he was shaking like he was cold
That afternoon, I put him down
Hard to do
When we got there, no one else was there so I was happy as I didn’t want to cry in front of anyone other than my kids
Kids wouldn’t go back with me to put him down
Once I came out, fully balling, the waiting room was full of,people ftl

I screamed “what the hell are you looking at” , picked up a side table and threw it into the wall
It was a bit awkward

Just checking in after a while for myself. Read this last page. Poor pupper. Glad he was happy with you in his last moments.

Nothing is going on with me. Just working overtime and still applying for other jobs. Dealing with severe depression, hence the break from here. My existential crisis is still ongoing as I'm headed towards 30 and not being successful in my own eyes and not being an autonomous, independent adult. Sooooo...neato.

That being said, how are all of y'all?

I know how that goes. I've had a "decent" job for a while now but in my mind feel like I've been playing catchup for the last 10 years. I've got some other things I'm working on but it's been slow going. The older I get the more I realize that me trying to fit in to the normal mold isn't going to work, I have to make it fit me...

Sorry TX

5x10, did you really do that? Throw a table at the wall in the vets? What the fack is wrong with you?!?!

I got a flat tire yesterday on the highway coming home from work. And it was sooooo hot outside. People kept stopping and I’m pouring/dripping sweat “No I don’t need help but thanks for stopping”. Turns out my son was standing near the back of the car staring at everyone driving by “because he wanted them to know there were kids in the car”. Little chit. Oddly enough, it was just a split at the bottom of the valve stem. I have no idea how it went flat like that, i thought for sure i blew the tire. So I put in a new stem and put it back on. I was impressed with myself that I managed to break the bead without a machine.

Also, I turn 35 on Friday.

I replied to this, then deleted it because too depressing. I'm sorry you lost Tug (cute af name, btw). When I lose Dobby it will be like losing my son, I will be a wreck. I know I will never get a pug again, because it won't be my boy. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Breezy, you need to stop focusing on all the things you don’t have. Look forward, not backwards. And isolation when you are depressed is the worst thing you can do. Get your depressed self out there or at least in here.
This is really good advice. You cannot focus on things you do not have. Goals and purpose are way more important to focus on. Get off the social media if you have to since it tends to be people showing off what they have and amplifying what you don't. You don't need that. Nobody needs that. You managed to lose a chit load of weight. Why? You had a goal and a purpose. Use that same approach in other aspects of your life.
