i got confused about MIDI at first, I thought when you recorded your MIDI inputs that you actually record the direct audio from the piano. For example, if I were playing an organ sound, the recording would have that same sound. Turns out, when you record the MIDI inputs, you're just recording the note, how long you play the note, and the pacing of the note. Kinda like morse code, tbh. We wanted the direct audio from the piano, so that's why we got the interface. Papa Frazetta has an usb stick full of hymns that he listens to in his car.
