Ehhh, put them on an island and let them defend for themselves. I’ve met a few gang members that were “okay” and mostly stole from stores to feed families, but there’s other ways to help out (IMO)

Honestly reminds me of Germany leading up to ww2. People feel disenfranchised and like they don’t matter so why improve yourself since it will make no difference. Make them feel like they matter and are accomplishing something and there will be less of this, but that’s the catch, how? Strong black community leaders are the best answer, but they seem to leave the communities they should be staying and helping.

For example you would think a community organizer from that area being elected president would have been beneficial, but it didn’t seem to make a dent.

Maybe the guy genuinely doesn't know or is misinformed, disenfranchised, etc. could be one or multiple of many reasons.

I do think there is racism in policies, not gonna sit here and list every instance, you should at least know of a few unless you've been living in a cave.

I think there's racism/classism against everybody with the exception of the elite, but blacks get it the worst here in America at least, because they're essentially considered the furthest from white.

Mix that with a purveying tribalism mentality in most humans, and a power structure that's made up of almost exclusively white people and there you have it.

If you can sit there and deny any of that you're either trying hard to be blissfully ignorant, or painfully misinformed and oblivious to evidence all around you.
