Pepper your ass for that there child support and possible alimony. The fact she cheated does not mean much she is the mother and she will most likely get custody of the child.
Also don't listen to what your lawyer tells you...often times lawyers make bull**** promises to get you to be their client knowing full well what they are saying is total bull****. Think about it if he told you sorry bro most likely shes gonna get custudy, you will have to pay child support, you may have to pay alimony, etc etc you would be like ok thanks and then you would want second opinion.. HOWEVER when he says o yah no problem she cheated you dont have to worry about cs alimony blah blah... then you are like cool i pick you to be my lawyer and he starts getting paid.
Think about this my brother in law got hurt on the job , he went to 3 different lawyers all of them told him he will get $200k-$300k if he sues. He asked me for advice and i was like no way based on injury you are telling me you will get $50-75k.....i knew this because his injury was alot less then my uncle who got $150k. He took advice of the lawyers ...stopped working... the lawsuit dragged on for two yewars...he changed 2 lawyers and he only got $63k which was not worth considering he used to make $60k a year. You think the lawyers cared NOPE....they got $25k out of the whole ordeal and they were happy....now if those ****ING LAWYERS told him the truth that he was only going to get $50-$75k they would have gotten $0 because he would not have sued. So dont believe everything your lawyer is promising you he will be happy to promise you the world and yes he will fight for it and drag out the divorce for as long as possible so that he can continue charging you $200-$300/hour.
TBH your best bet would be to sit down with her and try and workout something with her...if your two lawyers get into a battle all your savings will be drained and at the end chances are YOU WILL BE the one that gets ****ed because SHE IS A WOMEN AND COURTS FAVOR WOMEN NO MATTER WHAT.

If a woman's psychology/biology starts telling her she can get a better option elsewhere (whether that is in fact a better option is a different debate), her emotional state will become such that it will faciliate an affair. A woman won't experience an "oh ****, this guy picked me up when I was total **** and did x, y, z for me, and there is a track record of 10 years of solid behavior on his part and we have years of shared memories, I better think this through" moment. It just doesn't happen.
The type of love you're looking for from women, she will only likely feel for her children. Not for men. She will be pretty cool to you under the right circumstances though. With the advent of tinder and dating apps, social media and constant attention, loose sexual morals, loose morals in general, decline of religious feeling etc. those circumstances just get harder and harder to control.
Disclaimer: I'm not saying all men or all women are exactly like that, but that is the general gist of it.
