lol the friends I mentioned don't want their wives to work. Their jobs are the household. These are average looking women btw, so I wouldn't envision them as yoga pants wearing gossip soap opera ladies hitting the gym and looking for attention from other men. These two were born to be moms.

Friend #1's wife will likely go back to work part-time for an engineering firm though once her youngest child gets to kindergarten. Then again, my friend loves the house and meals being taken care of.

Friend #2's wife will never work in her life unless she really puts her foot down (he is VERY old-fashioned when it comes to roles). I see her getting active in volunteering when she is done homeschooling her teenagers.

Some dudes want a wife that is as successful or more to make financial stresses easier in life.

Some dudes want a wife that can take care of the home while he works and they live a modest/comfortable life.

Mostly because daycare is expensive as fuk and the excess cost negates the benefits of a working spouse.

Besides I think it is good for the family dynamic to have a typical 1950's family.

That's what wife and I decided and absolutely love. When the kiddos get into school she'll get back into the workforce, if she wants. She could have kept working, but the amount it costs for kiddos under 2 not potty trained is like $1,800/month, we got two boys under 3. That would have been roughly $3,000/month.

Not only that but those first years a TON of chit happens and you miss it all. Crawling, walking, talking, etc. You wake up, drop your kid off and don't see them until night. Take them home, feed em bathe them and put em to bed. You see your kid for a total of a few hours a day. Not for us, but no knock on people who choose to do that as to them, money may mean more to them than spending time with their kids. Everyone got their own priorities.

You're right that a lot of this red pill theory is hog wash (attractive women don't automatically hit a 'wall' when they turn 30, and all men don't improve with age), but it is in fact true that men who take good care of themselves into their thirties and even forties (work out regularly, keep a low body fat percentage, have a good career, maintain style and grooming) will have far easier time dating than a woman in the same age range who fits the same profile. Dating is way more fun for me in my thirties than it was in my early twenties, and I am able to turn down women who are past the age of 36, not because there is anything inherently wrong with them, but rather because it's too risky if I decide I want kids. Women in that age range just don't have the same option, I'm just stating a fact that should be obvious.

My coworkers wife did that. He fukkin hated it he said. He would intentionally work late to not be around the kids at his house.

I 100% agree. There should be value on both sides or wtf are you doing?

I have a fiancé currently (which is already a sin by misc standards), but she's driven, has a good career, doesn't want kids, goes to the gym with me/Spartan races/down to hike etc.

I could go on and on about positive attributes. But even from a pure value standpoint you need someone with a head on their shoulders.
