There are a huge subset of people who judge your actual worth as a person based on your social media 'power'. Porn has always been a thing and hookup culture is a knee-jerk reaction to avoiding bad relationships, of which there are many. Dating apps encourage breakups instead of working through issues. I really think dating apps have done the most damage.
