Trophy Hunters do THE MOST to protect and conserve wildlife. Period. This may blow your mind, but in places with no hunters, there's no money for game wardens or land preserves, so there aren't any big game animals.

I understand some people don't agree with this type of hunting but lol @ the ones asking him to step down from his job as a fish & game commissioner because he went on a legal hunt.

I found this letter, I’ll do further research to make sure it is accurate but-

I eat meat, so even if I’m disturbed by those pictures I’m not hypocritical enough to cry over it.

As long as the meat isn’t going to waste, I don’t see any issue with this to be honest.

Trophy hunting is about the only thing that might save African wildlife. If some affluent first-world dude is willing to pay $20k to shoot an animal, it has value to the locals, and they'll act to protect it. If the animal has no value, it's just an impediment to agriculture or a threat to their livestock, and the locals will kill it.
