And Trump, along with many of his supporters, make tons of excuses / mental gymnastics to make this totally insignificant.

typing fast, so sloppy---
There is complicated issues behind the scenes with the covert war that is going on right now. It is for the most part clandestine but it also written about and hinted at often in international news. Saudia arabia is a major member of the team/faction the US is part of in the war that is happening in Africa, central/south america and the middle east versus russia/iran/ecuador/elements in Turkey etc. China is both staying out but also fuking with the US in Africa and the south seas.
This goes back to Obamas presidency and included his massive drone war. It is a fascinating thing we that are not really seeing openly, but rather, it is happening in a series of shadow wars in third world countries--a sort of world war thats not conventional at all.
Syria was and is part of this, the coup attempt, or suppression in Turkey a couple years ago, the shhoting down of russian fighters by turkey, israel, and America in the middle east, the movement of Americas naval fleets, chinese aggression near Australia, etc.

The part that is going to make it 10x worse is how the administration spins it to the citizens. "Guise, come on now. MBS said that he investigated and took care of it guise"
Surely there is a better method. Conveying a message that encourages the people to shut up and trust MBS doesn't seem well thought out

Bill Clinton (yes), the man that also thought we should have done Iraq 2.0 way back
Mr. Clinton called for international action to charge President Slobodan Milosevic of Serbia and others "with crimes against humanity under international law -- as we should have done long ago in the case of Iraq."
"The continuing attacks by Serbian elements in Bosnia threaten the delivery of urgently needed humanitarian aid, jeopardize the safety of U.N. personnel and put at risk the lives of thousands of citizens," the Democratic nominee said. "The United States should take the lead in seeking U.N. Security Council authorization for air strikes against those who are attacking the relief effort. The United States should be prepared to lend appropriate military support to that operation. Air and naval forces adequate to carry out these operations should be visibly in position."
Commenting on the statement, Mr. Fitzwater said: "It sounds like the kind of reckless approach that indicates he better do some more homework on foreign policy. It's clear he's unaware of the political complications in Yugoslavia.

Clinton Urges Stronger U.S. Stand On Enforcing Bosnia Flight Ban
Mr. Clinton, who had been deliberately circumspect until today when asked his views on the international crises he will inherit from Mr. Bush, signaled that he would take a tougher approach toward the fighting in the Balkans. He said the United States and its allies should do whatever it takes, apparently including air strikes, to enforce the flight ban.
Unfortunately Clinton ended up doing the thing that all liberals want to do that causes the most war and deathsMr. Clinton, who had been deliberately circumspect until today when asked his views on the international crises he will inherit from Mr. Bush, signaled that he would take a tougher approach toward the fighting in the Balkans. Defense budget cuts and downsizing
He also did even worse than that by virtually eliminating the majority of our human intelligence assets.
All this led to the 2000’s Iraq war and an untold amount of deaths.
Still to this day over and over and over you see liberals wanting to cut defense budget- an act which has always resulted in large scales actions, war, and death.
And they always, as they still do today, whine about wanting the US to solve the worlds little problems, like another nations citizen being killed in a completely other foreign nation.
Oh yes, let’s don’t forget Hillary

The reason Saudi Arabia is protected by both political sides is because of oil dependency. In 1973 during the oil embargo: gas prices shot up, people were forced to ration, and there was a national speed limit set up as well; no one wants to go back to that.
Until we become less reliant on oil, the Saudis will be able to keep getting away with stuff like this.

The KSA-Israeli alliance is literally the geopolitical chess piece in the Middle East that stops both Russia and Iran from sweeping one of the most critical pieces of land on the planet. Do we put sanctions on them, and stop the sale of $110+bn of weaponry, likely also sacrificing their future investment in the economy?
That flies in the face of the "Russia is our biggest enemy" narrative and would more than likely completely change the rules of hemispheric power and global order.
There's no easy way to deal with this. Those chomping at the bit to punish Saudi without knowing the full details are either naive, or just hoping for chaos to derail the administration.

I remember an interview with George Bush Jr. how he exchanged trade deals/foreign aid for human rights improvements with African countries. Maybe something similar could be done here. Offering incentives for the Saudis to become more liberal could work.
The prince cannot want the church to be as influential as it is now especially with IS and Al Quaeda openly oposing him. He could make some kind of offer in that direction.

So is a liberal poster actually going to say what they want done here instead of criticizing the President?
Truth is, Trump's response here has been extremely measured and damn near perfect

as a Ron/Rand Paul guy ive never understood the SA ball-licking, especially considering our energy output now.
But one thing I will tell you, that the left simple hasnt been able to grasp, Trump has proven himself to be an absolute expert in foreign relations and dealings. He has outmatched every single foreign leader and entity he has came across so far. We, on the right, understand how he works. While the left takes every word he says at face value, we can see hes manuevering.
Maybe hes cucked on SA and maybe SA is way more crucial to us than us peasants realize, but for the first time in my life I actually trust the commander in cheif to do whats best for this country. He has gotten countless prisoners back and has always put his people first. I have confidence he will work this one out as well. Perhaps this one time he wont, but we will see.

Op is one of those racist trolls that has no concerns for the plight of minority Americans, as well as others in the world, being killed daily on the streets- but when a journalist is killed the world should stop.
They see the elitist journalist us as a different tear citizen the normal people.
Yep he’ll sure make a thread about this.
I hope at some point as the world we can come together and work past this racism.
