Thanks OP. For a long time my primary rifle has been an AK with Magpul furniture and light using open sights. For many reasons I'm gonna switch to an AR, and will probably go with the PSA upper and lower you recommended. I know I'll put a light on it but unsure about an optic yet.

The MRO or Aimpoint on page one are great duty-quality optics.

If going with the MRO, pair it with the geissele mount on page one, top quality stuff.

The aimpoint pro for 375 is your winner. Doesnt drop low very often.

This is a cheap option, and actually pretty good; love mine. I also have a few LEO friends who use it on their duty weapons, no issues and always reliable.

I would buy direct from Geissele just for the SWAG that comes with it. I believe the pricing is close.

Anything under $170 for an SSA-E or SD-E is a great price.

The Bushnell RDS is a decent option, although I've heard they go through batteries really quickly.

3moa dot will be faster for a close shot, harder for precision.

Www.primaryarms.comhas a nice line of micros as well...

Their CH is like $70, so you're getting a pretty nice CH and what is basically an SSA for $70.

The G2S and SSA are more of a combat trigger, and the SSA-E is more of a target trigger.

You can still be very precise with the SSA and G2S, but the SSA-E gives a crisper, lighter break.

If you have a mil trigger and a standard CH, get the CH deal...
