Oakland Ammunition in Troy. They're on Maple. I've had quite a few go through them and they never charged anything. I guess I can let you know in the next week or so whether or not that's still the case. But over the last few years they've always done it free. I usually will just be nice and buy a box of ammo from them, but you don't have to.

Often thought about getting the base level FFL just to be able to do cheap transfers for people. But it would probably be way more hassle and cost to be worth it.

I think if you do, and you use your home address it allows the ATF (or some .gov) to just come inspect your place. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I thought about doing the same thing, but I didn't feel like inviting them into my house.

Anyone here have an apple watch? I know Moe says they're the greatest thing but I've been back and forth on getting one for months. I feel like it would be pretty cool but I love the zero maintenance feel of the G-Shock I have right now. One main reason I want one is being able to change songs/see messages, etc. while riding the motorcycle.

that would be part of the hassle I was talking about. Correct me if I'm wrong, but anyone that buys a can or has an SBR or any NFA item is subject to the same random inspection process.

It's really not worth it for that unless you seriously just don't value your time lol.

People are fuk heads and don't ask to use you for transfers half the time, so you've got random peoples **** showing up all the time. Then in turn random people showing up with no appointment, etc. Then having to sit on top the 4473's for years and years. We stopped doing transfers all together a while back now. Greatest fuking decision ever.

G-Shock crew 4ever. I thought about getting one but I honestly don’t think it’s worth it. I already get annoyed with notifications sometimes last thing I need is them buzzing on my wrist too. That and the amount of time I spend in salt water I would probably break it tbh.

Changing songs while you’re on your bike sounds convenient though. No texts you big distracted rider head.

Aside from other phone OS's offering their version of smart watches I don't know of anything else that'll let you do that when riding, I'd say get one just for that reason.

Seiko and Timex crew. Also OCD and want to replace a mineral crystal for sapphire on a Seiko due to tiny hard to notice scratches.

FFL is $150 for 3 years. Application process is easy.

They can come for a no notice inspection at any time during the business hours listed on your FFL application. I put my hours as "By Appt Only" every day except Sunday, where my business hours are 1201AM to 401AM.

I have a Mobovi Ticwatch E and it's a great started Android Wear watch. I'm ready to move to an apple watch as my job issued me a work phone. I might as well move to the apple line of products. My buddy swears by his apple watch too.

EDIT: The amount of protective cases for the Apple watch is crazy. There's a style for everyone IMO.

From what the IOI said who did my in person interview, the IOs that would be coming to do an inspection would be coming from Hartford, CT and for home based dealers they always call and schedule a time before making the long drive

Current storm status. Still snowing hard and is supposed to snow all day and night. Going to end up with over a foot. Went out to run some errands in the tahoe. Driveway hasn't been plowed or snowblowed. Snow so deep the front bumper was pushing snow. Went down and up driveway with no issues...

Definitely not true assuming you're just referencing a random individual with no FFL. ATF or any other agency would need a warrant to search or inspect your place just like any other joe schmo. The NFA process is just a hoop to jump through to get scary stuff that shouldn't be allowed to be sold to just anyone without extreme scrutiny. /sarcasm

What brand and where from do you guys get 2032 batteries?

It's been a couple years since I've replaced my aimpoint battery and now that I want to, I can't find the last 2032 batteries that I had purchased.

I'm looking on amazon right now and while there are many low price options, those options have a lot of reviews saying the batteries were DOA or they died prematurely. It sounds like those problems are mostly due to people being sent several year old batteries.

One time I forgot to put a cup on the Keurig when I went to make a cup of coffee. Wasn't on any drugs or medication of any kind...just somehow forgot.

Fun fact: the drip tray on a Keurig is not even close to big enough to hold an entire cup of coffee.

Changing songs, seeing potentially important messages, etc. while phone is plugged in across the gym is the best. Also like sleep tracking and activity tracking features. Probably overpriced, though.
