Watching your parents get old is hard.

Thanksgiving was amazing, and I cut wood with my old man as we usually do. He always could split wood way better than I could, but this year he couldn't keep up with me. He's getting older, and losing his gristle. Can't imagine how I'll feel when he dies. Thursday is feelsday man. Hold your folks boyos

It is depressing. I dont live close to any of my parents. I pretty much only see a lot of my family members only once a year. It is pretty shocking the moment they go from looking like your dad to looking more like their dad.

witnessing your parents mortality definitely one of the tougher things in life.. just cherish the time left together as I'm sure they're doing the same

My dad will be 60 next month and I’m not really okay. He’s starting to have the health issues that run in our family.

We don’t always get a long but damn I need him around.

I hear ya brah. My dad is 71 and he's starting to show his age. I always saw him as invincible and I worked with him almost every day until a couple of years ago. Time waits for no one sadly.

My other Grandpa's mother is still living, at 100+. He's 85 years old and still has to listen to his Mama in her house lmao
