Yeah...only people who shoot 50 or 100 rounds through their gun -ever- would like .40.

We all know I think 9mm is the better choice, when given the choice, for the common reasons, but c'mon...if you don't mind paying more for the .40 ammo and you have a gun that shoots it well and you shoot it well (use a shot timer!), it's a perfectly fine choice and who GAF anyway? Besides, with ammo prices as they are now, it's cheaper to shoot .40 than it was recently to shoot 9.

Yes, it is currently cheaper to shoot .40 than it was recently to shoot 9...because ammo prices are so low. Hell, you can currently shoot factory new brass case 5.56 for what it used to cost to shoot 9 or 40 (depending on when you compare to)

Eh, sure you can be great with .40, but 9 is hands down better, and it's unlikely that all other things equal that anyone shoots .40 better than they shoot 9. Sure that's no reason to throw away your .40s. Maybe something does happen to the 9mm supply some day. But there's no reason to chose .40 on purpose anymore, I guess unless that reason is just another option in case the 9 does indeed dry up one day...but then wouldn't it just be better to just spend the money on a few extra cases of 9 today, especially at these ultra low prices?

Variety, spice, life. Differences between them are marginal. Capacities are generally really close, 1-2 rounds over a full mag, terminal ballistics are close, and times for drills are close. For 'gun guys' it makes sense to me to have a .40 pistol that's good to go, and some ammo, and to shoot it from time to time to maintain that status.

Sure, 9 is better and a better choice. But, they're close. Extra cost of ammo for shooting volumes of .40 is the only significant difference IMO and IME, so I sure as hell wouldn't want my main pistol(s) to be .40...and I'd hate to be the rtard clamoring on about how awesome my .40 is because I can pay for a conversion barrel and do my actual shooting all with 9mm lol (double down on that for the .357sig morans who actually just shoot 9 or .40 in conversion barrels lol)

I suspect a lot of people shoot, what, maybe 400-800 rounds a year, even if they are self professed 'gun guys'...go to the range once every 3 months and shoot 100-200 rounds...if you do itrightand start out with a class and do training vs blasting at the range, you can probably maintain an acceptable proficiency level that way, and at that rate, the price difference won't be a big deal.

Obviously if you actually really get out and shoot much, the 9 advantage in price is a .40 deal breaker since the rest is so close (and the 9isfaster that's physics)

I think we should do a MFC meetup at a fighting pistol class. We might be able to get Meatie to get Yeager to start killing people and/or himself.

I searched through my emails and I had two emails from them after I registered saying "Your Monthly Statement is now available online." When I click through to the link it shows an invoice for $1.00 but there is no description on the invoice for what the $1.00 is for "Your account is Past Due. To avoid suspension of your account you must make a payment immediately."

You're the guy that was blathering on about taking silencers off the NFA and re-opening the machine gun registry. Now you are happy to see no hint at that + bump stocks being administratively banned + take the guns first, due process later

I was hoping he'd have a Republican House and a 60 seat majority in the Senate next year. I wasn't planning on the RNC having zero ground game, or people somehow siding with Anti-Fa retards, or these "Unite the Right" morons coming out and all Republican momentum getting blown anytime some starts to develop.

You're out of your mind if you think I shouldn't be elated about:
-Border Control
-Refugees
-Amnesty
-Economy
-Taxes
-Current status of gun rights
-Paris Accord
-Iran
-China
-Trade

Trump's fighting the entire Democratic Party, the entire media, ********, and elements of the Republican Party.

Yes, he hasn't delivered on everything we wanted, but where the F was Mitch McConnell? Hearing Protection Act and National CC Reciprocity can't be willed into existence, the Senate has to pass them.

He had Republicans in both chambers...and all he talked about was banning and confiscating guns.

Yeah, he's fighting the democrats really hard, passing gun control laws for them and all

He probably knows Trump would not sign HPA. Rather the opposite

Also, I have never said that I was a fan of denying anyone their rights without due process. Don't put words in my mouth.

I am a fan of law enforcement doing their jobs and taking reports of threats of violence seriously.

Yeah, he's fighting the democrats really hard, passing gun control laws for them and all

He probably knows Trump would not sign HPA. Rather the opposite
Trump doesn't control the Senate, Mitch does. Trump can't set the Senate Agenda, or pass a bill out of committee. That's Mitch's job. I don't mind you complaining about Trump telling the ATF to pass a ban on bumpstocks, because I don't support that either. However, I expect you to have a shred of intellectual honesty about how our legislative process works. Trump only barely got ****ing Kavanaugh through the Senate. Kavanaugh, hero of the Neo Con Republican...
