And my sisters (no pics) and girlfriends (no pics) all have kids from babies to teenagers (no pWally), so I’m around them but I never envy them. More the opposite where I’m just glad I don’t have to take care of them, even though I love them. Am actually typing this from a minivan with two kids lol.
let me know when you're just into menopause and infertile but have not yet grown a mustache and i'll dick you down (assuming you're a female) semisrs

it's funny how low-IQs think that it's being selfish to not reproduce as though the unborn children are stuck in purgatory and sit there suffering for eternity.

The biggest problem is friends and family congratulate when someone gets pregnant, no one dares ask if the parents can afford it or if the pregnancy was pre planned, all woman do if talk about other newly pregnant woman in a positive light, pregnancies are mostly out of control mistakes. Woman can’t wait until they are financially ready to pop those dam things out.

42yr old divorced brah who has never paid a dime in child support or alimony raising a 13yo daughter that lives with me half the time crew checking in.

I'm probably the oddball, but nothing in the op's list has ever really applied to me.

Its not about genetics, or legacy, or having someone to take care of you when you're old.

Its all about - do you have faith in yourself to create a child who will grow to be a smarter and better person than you are.

If the answer is no, either give it some time and revisit this thought again when you got some mileage on you, or take the steps needed to make sure you don't have any kids.

This is some sht people have been doing since people existed, why does it have to be so complicated because the current year crowd deems it to be that complicated?

Maybe I'd have kids if I were rich as **** and I had a broad to do all the work.

But I'd objectively be a terrible parent. Cuz I'm selfish AF.

Damn women choosing to have children while they're young and fertile instead of making powerpoint presentations in a cubicle until they're 35

the whole idea of life is to pass your genes before you die, period. and also, hopefully you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in your lifetime so after you die you go to Heaven instead of the Lake of fire. but if you think having kids is such a burden, by all means remain single and have no kids

I’ve lost friends because I always bring up their financial status. They just fail to realize they have to put the work in and have money saved up.. which majority of young people don’t do.

This debate has been had before and will debated until the end of time. The right way of looking at it, as with most things in life, is that everyone is different. Down to yourpersonalpros/cons list and feelings on the matter. It might not work for you or be something that you want, but its narcissistic to look down at people who make other decisions - strangers who have no need to explain themselves to you.

If you're looking for someone to convince you, OP, then ask different questions.

If I could walk or drive just down the road to my full time secure job that allows my wife to stay at home with kids and still have enough money to pay the mortgage on a cheap house in a good area and live well while saving for a comfy retirement, then yes I would have kids.

Fast forward to our current society, 5 years at uni to maybe get a job in your field, then add 2 hours commute each day to sit in an office with other cucks for 5 days out of 7 days a week to then jump back on the disgusting public transport back home where you will spend a few hours with your kids before you need to repeat this hell all over again.

and you wonder why less people are having kids?

the 9-5 for the most of us is already complete torture add in a few kids and its ****ing hell on earth.

When I was a teen I always wanted to have 3 children, as I grew older that number went to 2 then to 1 now I dont give a **** honestly if I ever have them, my main focus is to escape the rat race and live free from this system.

I’m extremely wealthy, I have a desire to start a legacy, I have a global peace agenda, I want to share the experience with women I care about, I want to try and bestow the things I know to my children...

Idk because I’m a male and I enjoy humanity? What will you do? Have sex with random women all your life living in an empty shell of a life while you miss out on one of the best parts of life?

You must not enjoy being alive do you?

Yeah but it's a bit better than hundreds of years ago, slaving on a farm 20 hours a day and probably getting some sort of disease/infection. We have it pretty easy these days although we can't know that because it's all relative.

Mind blown that people voluntarily have kids.

Instinct to procreate is strong with some.
You can go on vacation without kids (unless you're a peasant)

All the other complaints your wife deals with.

Are you a poor female? Because that's what you sound like.

Kids are awesome as you see a mini-me and relive your childhood. All of a sudden my life had meaning, and to this day I get excited to see them every morning.

That's because your wife does all the work. Do it yourself when she goes out of town, and you will be exhausted.

Without a family during this second half of your life, what do you even see yourself doing at 50, 60, 70, or later? Practicing guitar chords alone in your house? Endlessly swiping on tinder just to get a date with a woman your age to whom you are barely even attracted? You're living the lifestyle of a man in the first half of his life, but you're handicapped because you're no longer in your prime. How is this life a superior alternative?

I respect the decision of any adult who decides to not have kids, but I think that the reality of being childless is far more bleak than most of the short-sighted No Child Crew miscers realize.
Your kids aren't around much after age 50. That's when it gets sad. Your whole life is about them for 13 years, then they want to be with their friends and you're just a credit card and driver. I hear it gets better when they're in their 20s. Still, HOPEFULLY, they will be out of your house.

Although the number of people living at home at age 30 is way higher than it ever was.

I have read a solid argument that 3 is the worst number of children to have because one child is always on the outside. Said if you want more than 2 then you should try for 4.
