It's like maximum cope and deferring disappointment.
Yes something like 10% of girls like older guys but ~99% of girls like guys their own age. So while on paper a guy has more value with age, value is also determined by what the free market wants to pay.
And of equal importance, free time is out the window once you pass early 20s. You're left with a fraction of the free time and 100x the responsibility.

no. I'm 19 so no bias at all.
men gain value with age cus they acquire resources to build a family. men also had a tendency for dying a lot in their prime so an older man who has survived is more attractive because he has proved his genes are capable of surviving in war or primitive ways, this is ingrained into us from older times.
a lot of older culture norms had men at least 10-15 years older than the women they marry as they are ready to support her and the children she brings. the idea of 'same age' relationships are a very western modern concept. women's value peak with their ability to birth healthy children. period. if you talk to a woman in her early 20's who hasn't had a child yet, they are aware of this fact.

Yeah free time is out of the window if you're a doctor seeing as the average MD works 60 hours a week. You chose the wrong career lol. Shoulda been an anesthetist or dentist or orthodontist.
Also I get literally 10x the girls at 29 than I did at any other age so I disagree. It's all about how long you can stay in shape/keep your hair.

Most men peak on the dating market at age 21-23.
They can retain value a lot better than women if they keep their status and looks high and then will do well through their 20's and early 30's.
The whole 40+ dating early 20 year olds is cope and rarer than being ceo 10k/day.

But I definitely did way better at 18-19 back when my CV was blank unlike now when it's 10 pages.

You peak late teens-early 20s (varies by person) and retain whatever you can. Even if you are dating someone in their 20s as a 40+ year old, they're not going to be anything close to quality.
My whole point is that this is something told to guys to prevent them from getting pissed off.

You're 25. You aren't at your peak yet. Once you finish residency etc then you'll hit your peak if you keep your physique!
Maybe I just peaked later because I grew a beard for the first time at 28? Girls say I look 24 and that's even with having a beard at 29. I just think I still haven't peaked yet lol.

I definitely get more attention from a wider range of women now then I did in the past and I'm less attractive face wise. It's a combo of saying things no other guys say, understanding women, not being stressed and just in general acting like the world is mine. Most men won't learn these things or act this way though, so it's not true for the majority of men but a possibility.

Society also tells us human nature is kind, physical traits don't matter for success in many aspects and all sorts of other copes.

Yes I graduate this year in a couple of months. I killed it in college as a premed. My physique improved a little bit since then & my lifts improved (bench mid 400s now) so physique/strength definitely doesn't peak until 30s.
But lol @ being a doctor mattering. Most nurses either despise medical students or treat them very casually (barely a good morning). You have to go literally 3 points lower if you want that kind of attention. For residents, it's the same deal but they acknowledge your existence more. The younger attendings get some attention from nurses/staff who are significantly less attractive and that's about it.

And yes, you have less free time and more responsibility. But most young people neither appreciate nor take advantage of it. There's a reason why they say youth is wasted on the young. I'm a lot happier now than I was in my early 20s, when I was fairly miserable and filled with young man angst.
Honestly, you sound like a woman with your obsession with your own youth. Then again, I wasn't any better when I was in my 20s. I wanted to stay young and thought my life would only go downhill as I got older. Then I actually got older and stopped being a little bitch.

I'm almost 35 and it's easier for me to get dates/**** girls then when I was younger. Having money and a nice lifestyle seems to hold higher value then simply being young.

It’s partially true but is massively overblown into full cope status by angry virgins who don’t get any and need to believe their time will come and Stacy will get what’s coming to her.
The reality is only Chad gains value with age and then only if he stays attractive—and the more you need to throw your money around to get laid, the more likely you are to attract goldiggers and then it eventually just devolves into prostitution.
Timothy is not going to turn into Chad just because he ages, and Stacy can be Stacy a lot longer than the misc likes to think.

Be patient like the mountain. And you will learn to be strong.

They gain value with age because they should have more resources.

Not really. Girls are really attracted to status and resources, which your average early 20s college student has absolutely none of.
If you're just going into an average white-collar career and work as a salesman or an accountant, yea it's probably not gonna get a lot better with age (unless your confidence increases dramatically).
But if you're a doctor/dentist/lawyer/veterinarian who's making 6 figures easily and who's not gotten much uglier with age, you'll probably do a lot better than when you were in college simply by virtue of status and what you can provide.
Plus way more girls than you think are okay with sleeping with dudes older than them. Like, many many women I've talked to irl talk about how they prefer older men. You see women all the time saying dudes aren't worth getting into relationships with until they're 30 (and able to provide something then). Your confidence is also almost certainly going to be better than when you were in your twenties.

Timothy is not going to turn into Chad just because he ages, andStacy can be Stacy a lot longer than the misc likes to think.

Know of this girl in her later 30s. Single mom with 3 kids. Drinks and smokes a lot, lost most of her looks. Still has lots of (high quality) guys lined up, one of whom is a cardiologist I know.
Any woman in her 40s who looks somewhat okay facewise has tons of male options, even if overweight. Not sure why guys think women's value tanks as they age either.
