Today I'm grateful for...
...eating like a king today - protein blueberry pancakes for breakfast, chicken breast and veggies for lunch and salmon and veggies for dinner.
...the Patriots big win over the Chargers, everything is coming together.
...great back workout today. Worked up a great sweat.

6. Become a buddhist monk and go awol in the Himalayan mountains
7. Live in Egypt for a year, where I would spend many nights plowing the allah out of Egyptian goddesses

Awesome idea for a thread. Gratitude is an essential thing to have in the age of Instagram and comparing yourself to others.

I am grateful

1. To be living in San Francisco, California. Where I have other high achievers around me.
2. To have the ability to acheive my dreams/goals everyday. I get to work with my buddy doing a digital agency. I also get to build a fitness brand.
3. For health. I am grateful I have been able to create a strong healthy body that helps me navigate through the world meeting awesome people in my travels.

1) Gym. 3rd day workout nonstop. My gym partner told me that he has a long distance girlfriend last Saturday. After several thoughts, I told him that I don't want him help me any more. It is a hard decision for me. I thought if I should switch to a different gym. I really like this gym. It is awkward that we don't talk now, but I think it is for the best. I am thankful that he told me. I think God had mercy on me.

2) Good book. Finish the book, 5 love languages. I like it more the second time I listen to this book.

3) Glasses is ready. Got a call that my glasses are ready for picking up. I lost my last pair. I will see better.

4) Fun event look forward to. Friend texted and booked a lunch appointment to talk about stocks with her and her friend. It is fun to talk about stocks and make new friends.

I'm grateful for...

[ul]
  • a full weekend in the new house, making it a home now. (Y'all probably tired af of hearing about my home, but I'm super stoked)

  • starting my meal prep up again. Let the gains/fat loss begin.

  • being pretty active lately. I was in a pretty big slump 3/4 of last year and I've burst out of it this year. I've gone to the gym but it's mostly been just going through the motions and not a lot of gains.

  • being in such a good spot at work. Busy enough to make the time fly, but slow enough to get into some extra stuff I have been putting on the back burner.

  • the Cowboys losing this weekend. I predicted 3 of the 4 outcomes...damn New England.

    1, good workout. Gym was crowded in the beginning, but then less crowded and I was able to use all the machine. 4th day workout in a row. I might take a break tomorrow, maybe not.
    2, good sleep. I have been able to go to sleep right away and not wake up in the middle of night. I suspect my workout helped my sleep.
    3, finished one book to teach my son learning to read. One of my goal this year is to teach my little one to read. We completed one book last night which has 101 lessons. Now I am going to use the second book to teach him sight words.
    4, one of my winning stock I bought two months ago went up 5% today, overall 50% higher than my purchase price, pretty happy to see this result in a volatile market.

    Grateful for:

    - My nephew got married. Means we're going to have a big party soon! He's young, but well established and ready I guess.
    - My sister going to be bringing me some gifts from my parents' country which she's currently visiting.
    - Husband brought flowers without reason for me yesterday.
    Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
    Thus unlamented let me die;
    Steal from the world, and not a stone
    Tell where I lie.
