Chalk it up to bad ammo then? I guess I'm going to buy a case of S&B and see what happens.

82” crew. Or 83 can’t remember.

When you get slides for milling do you want them completely stripped or is it cool to leave the striker assembly in and all that?

Before saying a stock Glock has light strike issues? Probably. Only way you'd get light strike issues on a stock Glock would be carbon/oil gunked in the striker channel, which I find unlikely on a new gun.

This. Happens a lot with competition guys that are running 4lb striker Springs but stock Glocks have 5.5lb Springs.

Maybe check your striker. Sometimes the tips break off.

Lol you'll be turning your whole head to check the corners. I've never had a good monitor so I'm interested to see what it's like. My eyes aren't bad, but they're not as good as they once were, and I have to be closer to the TV than I like to see the details.

TV in our bedroom is an older 50" 1080 Plasma. I suspect we'll keep using it until it ****s the bed.

Also, when putting the slide back on the frame, I have to pull the trigger forward a little bit, otherwise it won't go on. My Glock 43 is not like this at all. Is this normal on the large frame Glocks? HALP
I said before...and at least two MFC reports have been in line with it...Fiocchi ammo maybe isn't the best. It should be, you'd think, they've been making ammo a long time, etc, but, I don't buy it any more.

Their 9mm has a slightly different ogive that has jammed or otherwise failed to chamber properly in a few of my guns, which I have since sold off. Those guns never had any problem with any other ammo. Plus it's dirty and smells like my grandma's house.

My G20 and G29 have never had any issues with any ammo, including SIG, Underwood, Gold Dot, Armscor and S&B. Never shot any Fiocchi through them since I don't buy it any more.

I was one of those . . . had lots of issues with some Fiocchi 9mm 115 gr that my wife and I shot on our last range trip with it. It was even jamming up my G19 and her G26, which is pretty rare. But we both had multiple jams.

With the last election cycle, the Democrats once again hold a Super Majority which means they can ram through any law they want now....

News came this evening that the Illinois legislature had their first major gun control bill ready in the form of SB0107, a sweeping "Assault Weapons" bill designed to bring about the eventual sunsetting on the rights to buy a number of named firearms, as well as the registration of any of those guns currently in existence in the state, and finally mandating locking mechanisms for these guns.
First, the bill defines "Assault Weapons":

Semiautomatic rifles capable of accepting a magazine with a capacity of over 10 rounds and any of the following:
Has no stock
Any protruding grip for the off hand
A folding, telescoping, or thumbhole stock
A barrel shroud
A muzzle brake
Semiautomatic pistols with a fixed magazine with a capacity of over 10 rounds
Semiautomatic pistols capable of accepting any detachable magazine at all and any of the following:
Any protruding grip for the off hand
A folding, telescoping, or thumbhole stock
A barrel shroud
A muzzle brake
The capacity to accept a detachable magazine at some location outside of the pistol grip
Semiautomatic shotguns with any of the following:
Has no stock
Any protruding grip for the off hand
A folding, telescoping, or thumbhole stock
A fixed magazine with a capacity in excess of 5 rounds
An ability to accept a detachable magazine
A revolving cylinder
Any combination of parts from which any of the aforementioned banned weapons could be made

Then, it lists banned firearms by name:

(as if the list of features above doesn't already exclude most firearms already)
Specific Rifles:

AK, AKM, AKS, AK-47, AK-74, ARM, MAK90, Misr, NHM 90, NHM 91, SA 85, SA 93, VEPR
AR-10
AR-15, Bushmaster XM15, Armalite Ml5, or Olympic Arms PCR
AR70
Calico Liberty
Dragunov SVD Sniper Rifle or Dragunov SVU
Fabrique National FN/FAL, FN/LAR, or FNC
Hi-Point Carbine
HK-91, HK-93, HK-94, or HK-PSG-1
Kel-Tec Sub Rifle
Saiga
SAR-8, SAR-4800
SKS with a detachable magazine
SLG 95
SLR 95 or 96
Steyr AUG
Sturm, Ruger Mini-14
Tavor
Thompson 1927, Thompson Ml, or Thompson 1927 Commando
Uzi, Galil and Uzi Sporter, Galil Sporter, or Galil Sniper Rifle (Galatz)

Specific Pistols:

Calico M-110
MAC-10, MAC-11, or MPA3
Olympic Arms OA
TEC-9, TEC-DC9, TEC-22 Scorpion, or AB-10
Uzi

Specific Shotguns:

Armscor 30 BG
SPAS 12 or LAW 12
Striker 12
Streetsweeper

Further down in section (e) it lists the requirements for keeping your "assault weapon"

You'll need to register at the State Police station nearest to you after 180 days but before 300 days after the passage of the bill, giving them the following information:

Your full name
Your date of birth
FOID number
The make, model, caliber, and serial number of the firearm
Proof of ownership of an approved locking mechanism

Selling / Transfering of firearms

At the 300 day mark, you'll no longer be able to sell or give your gun to anyone other than an heir, unless it's to someone in another state or an FFL. If it gets transferred to an heir, they have to go through the whole process listed above within 10 days and also pay whatever they decide the registration fee is.

So, god help you if your heir can't pay the fee or is prohibited for whatever other random reason. Or they change their minds. Or they forget to process the paperwork in time and make your heir a felon through their own inaction.

Basically, your right to ever own another decent gun ever again would be gone. What's that? Your gun got lost or stolen? Too bad. Oh, you're now disabled and require two hands with a second grip to fire your weapon? Tough.

This is 2019, people. Fight this!

TE7buxmJPqk?start=25
That's pretty crazy. Closest I ever heard before was Mika, who even mentioned in his main hit song Grace Kelly that he didn't get a record deal until he flat out imitated Freddie. Thought he would be a lot bigger but didn't have any more hits, other than Big Girl You Are Beautiful which is a variation on Fat Bottom Girls.
