Australia is getting bad with liberal mindsets but it's not even close to other countries. As for this instance, 4 years only? Just lol, but of course if you gave it a longer sentence the usual SJW idiots would scream it's because of being transgender. You hit someone in the face with an axe without any just provocation the minimum sentence should be 10 years. If it causes a serious injury then longer. Mentally ill and a criminal and will contribute absolutely nothing for it's whole life that has any meaning, benefit or substance.

Here's how bad someone countries are, I bet you if this transgender was rightly beaten to a pulp because of the axe attack, the attacker would probably be jailed for "hate" crimes.

Because they tried to play the PC game instead of listening to the alarms going off in their heads.
They were more focused on making sure their body language and reactions to this extremely abnormal behavior were in line with an everyday normal event so as to not appear bigoted.
