You need to set boundaries on the first date, if someone you're out with acts in a way you think is improper, ask yourself if things will get better down the road. They usually don't.

The real issue here is you're needy, so you let thinks that clearly won't work drag on too long. Think about that.
When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

Congrats on getting married but honestly, dating nowadays is absolute chit. I don't know if it's just me becoming older so I'm farther off from the college experience or what. I think most guys who have been actively dating for a while feel like it's just a complete chitshow now. There are definitely hot, sane women with decent jobs around but they are usually locked up by guys real quick nowadays (find me a hot single nurse and I'll show you a psychopath). I think I've also become less tolerant of women's BS overall but I think it's just objectively chit nowadays. I feel like all the SJW man hating going around on social media is definitely not helping, women are poisoning their own well.

Can't blame anything Luc1fer is saying tbh. The only real neediness is wanting a woman in the first place, which is pretty much the most natural feeling a man can have so can we really consider it 'neediness'? If you aren't willing to cut the modern woman some slack almost none of them will meet a reasonable standard.

You're wrong about my personality, I do set boundaries. Hence calling them out, when seemingly no other dude has in the past.

Or are you suggesting dumping any woman that posts to social media immediately? Where exactly is the boundary, 1 post a week?

In the example of the OP, I wouldn't date her ever. There is a spectrum - if you're gonna rule out every woman uses social media nowadays you're working with a very, very short list. And it's tough enough out there without that constraint. I believe I setreasonableboundaries - in the case where she is interrupting a live experience to post on IG, yes I will call it out and not allow it to continue.

Not the worst thing, but it's pretty bizarre nonetheless. My girlfriend's friend and her husband are like that. Even my girl gets annoyed with her because she's constantly asking to get her picture taken.

Not much to add beyond what has been already said. Instagram is poison and it has corrupted society. Particularly females. Young females even more so. I have IG but haven't posted since 2015. I just use it now to follow professional athletes and sports teams, as I find it interesting to get a glimpse into their lives. The world would be a better place without social media.

Try stuff like "fantastic earth".... "wonderful places".... "travel and leisure".... or ones that showcase a city/place that you're interested in. It's awesome for that.

I know a couple like that IRL who just did the engagement photos. I can imagine he paid $1,000 for that or more.

Of course they threw it all over Instagram, along with the huge stagecoach wedding that must have cost close to $100,000. He's better looking then she is, too, so I'm not sure why he has to do all of that. She's slim, so maybe that's it.

Instagram makes me rage. Usually i don't care but Instagram really does make me angry.

It's sickening. People think they are somebody when they are nobody IRL.
The worst is women posting stories about the most mindless useless crap. I remember following a girl who posted a story of her weighing herself saying "so happy 51kgs used to be 53kgs"

Does it ever go through their minds that no one really gives a **** about you? you are not ****ing special? you are average? you are not a snow flake? you are just a normal ****ing human being. You are not in the top 5% of truly rich/high status people you see on social media and on tv (e.g. movie actresses etc). You are nobody. You will never be great. This sounds depressing but it's true. You should be content with this. Because that's life.
