It's worse for them in the long run. I see girls scrolling through IG stories the whole way in the train or metro ( from glances every now). I realized with that time I can read classics or interesting articles. Though it does affect the environment of our children so das it mane.

Superior but lonely, every time. I have been in longer term relationships and honestly never felt a thing for the girls outside of some basic enjoyment of their company, sex, etc. The longest one was really just a stage 5 chameleon clinger that adopted my personality because she had none of her own and worshipped the ground I walked on. I will fully admit to jealousy of guys that are with genius bombshells (the things I would do to some of the young female surgeons I see, hoboy) and work on improving myself to deserve the kind of woman I want to be with. I dated multiple girls that told me they loved me and a couple would have married me if I asked. Zero chance of that happening, what a miserable existence to settle for mediocrity. I could never be "happily engaged" as a cringey follower. There is no universe where I am part of a cringey instagram couple shoot unless it's Angie Verona eating out my angus afterward

I've dated maybe 100 girls if we include unsuccessful first dates, and there were maybe like three of them that I thought would be a decent LTR but by no means a "soulmate" (in retrospect they were just very hot and not stupid). I think people deluding themselves into thinking they've found their soulmate just because someone pays attention to them and acts nice to their face.

I know this kind of chit comes across as woman-hating but I also believe there are very few men that actively seek to improve themselves and are self-critical. I've dated a hundred women but have met thousands of guys, and out of them I don't know if I have encountered anyone that was intelligent and consciously seeks self-improvement outside of reading a couple books. One of my best friends is very tall, intelligent, very attractive, works out obsessively, but lacks any humility and I would hesitate to call him successful. The whole dating game is chit for both sides. I've set myself up to peak pretty hard in my thirties so I will take superior and lonely for another 5 years over pretend to be happy in a useless relationship til divorce do us part
