People like to overcomplicate nutrition and fitness for profit & because they want a trick or an excuse. Nutrition is very very simple.
If it's a fruit, vegetable, or meat that comes directly from mother nature then it's good for you.
If it doesn't, then it's not good for you.
Variety is healthy.

the fruit available today was never supposed to exist. it's giant genetically modified sugar bombs, made to be fake delicious with sugar. any potential benefits fruit provides are more than negated by all the sugar, which is literally poison.
fruits in nature were very small, bitter, and only available seasonally if at all. they served the purpose of helping us fatten up around harvest time (fall) so we could more likely survive the winter.
if you're trying carnivore, I'd recommend at least 3 months completely strict. zero fruits, zero veggies, just lots of fatty meat. after 3 months, you can experiment with adding veggies back in. I did a full year carnivore strict, but after the year ended, I started having veggies occasionally just because I do enjoy them sometimes. other than having slightly heftier shts the next day, they don't affect me negatively. but I do believe veggies are unnecessary, except in the context of a standard sht diet, in which case they can help push all the toxins through the body faster. all the nutrition we need to survive is in fatty meat. just make sure you prioritize fat. don't need as much protein as we've been taught to believe.

Lmao at the people saying fruits will give you diabetes when people are drinking 2L of cocacola everyday. fruits have fiber, antioxidants, and vitamins.

The health benefits of fruit & veg have been highly overstated.
You can live a long and healthy life without them. Now if you replace them with what people typically replace them with (refined sugars, seed oils, trans fats etc) then you'll have a problem.

If anyone ever says "dont eat fruit, fruit is bad for you" run.
They did a study where they ate 20 servings a day and their insulin and triglucerides were fine/improved
https://nutritionfacts.org/2017/02/2...oo-much-fruit/
(Im not advocating veganism, just saying)

True. If you think about it, you are actually being raped by fruit every time you eat it.

Modern fruits have been manipulated by man to be sweeter, and I don't know for sure but I am guessing have a higher fructose content, than fruit was (which was by-and-large at it's sweetest before man: about the same as a carrot).
However, if you're not keto or carnivore or something, fruit isn't going to kill you, it's more about CONTEXT, like anything.
Fructose IS bad, it's really, really bad. Terrible: and I will explain why.
Glucose can be used by every-single-cell in your body as energy. When you take in glucose, it's shuttled around your body and spread around, about 80% of it goes throughout your body. The remaining small 20% is processed in your liver, converted into glycogen, stored in the liver as energy, shuttled around your body to use as immediate energy or also stored in your muscle. If there is an excess, meaning you don't need the energy and your liver and muscles are already full-up -- it's stored as fat.
With glucose, this is also about context as well. Glucose that comes with a fiber-rich meal or complex carbohydrates, which are just a string of glucose molecules, it's going to slow the process down, give your body more time to process the energy, meaning there is more time to use up energy and more time for your liver to process things. More time is generally a good thing.
Sucrose, table sugar, is one molecule of glucose and one molecule of fructose.
High fructose corn syrup is just fructose.
So, when you eat like an apple -- there is whatever grams of pure fructose (bad!) BUT... it's not many grams of it, fruit tends to have fiber which slows the process down, fruit also has nutrients and other benefits, and you're fine.
However, drink that HFCS coke with the same amount of fructose as 12 apples, no fiber, no nutrients, with a meal of a greasy burger and fries? THAT chit is bad news. Massive insulin spike, too fuking many calories at once, way too much fructose for your liver to handle at once, almost no fiber to slow the process down, the non-fructose carbs are chit and a ton of calories all at once.
So, don't freak out over fruit. Moderate it, sure. Those vegan morons with banana diets can get bent, but for a normal person with a normal diet, nothing to worry about.

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

So much stupidity ITT.
Fruit consumption does not increase insulin resistance.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3836143/(and also Reinhardt's study). That's experimentally proven.
When you consume fruit, fructose's effect on blood sugar is dampened by fiber. It's totally different than consuming pure HFCS in soda, fruit drinks, etc., that lack fiber.
We're also evolved to rely, in part, on nutrients that we obtain from fruits and vegetables. The clearest example, of course, being vitamin C.
You're not going to get fat or get insuling resistance from eating apples, etc.

I eat apples, oranges, grapes, blueberries, mango, plums and cherries on the daily. Probably have about 5 to 6 servings easy.
The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

These plants do not want to kill the animals that eat the fruits and spread the seeds.
Who the fukk would spread their seeds otherwise?
Fruits provide nourishment for wild animals. And animals chit out the seeds and spread plant life in return.
You definitely do not want to eat too many fruits cause that’s a lot of sugar. But to say that fruits are bad is retarded.
