Sometimes I feel bad for white dudes in the media b/c many I know are well meaning, good individuals and much of the backlash I hear in the media I find ridiculous as **** and demeaning.

But when I see threads like this which is just a bunch of white dudes whining about certain aspects of black culture it makes me lose empathy a bit.

How is your standpoint here any different than the people coming into your thread?

I agree music being degenerative is in all genres so that’s w/e but he got called out for saying that black culture has dominated media for a while and it’s true but he’s racist now....

I didn't say it was any different I was just giving my comments.

I've mentioned in other threads how inspiring black music can be and can celebrate other things besides violence or "the struggle". Even every day life is highlighted in our music, even in hip-hop.

That's one of the things I get frustrated about African American Art and culture. Much of it seems to highlight pain and hardship we experienced as a people but there's more to us than that.

I haven't called OP racist, but he has a habit of making threads like this. It just gets old seeing every thread about black people or things that black people tend to be into as a negative thing. Every single thread about black people on the misc is always some kind of criticism about what the OP perceives to be "black culture", with all the the usual posts about FBI stats and single parents or what not. Almost always devolves into something like that. Hip hop threads are never really about hip hop.

If mainstream media paints white people as the devil, then the misc is surely the reverse.
