One more, but I can't remember, but those breeds....we wouldn't even touch you if you had those. No underwrite waiver either. Call was over once you told us what type of breed it was. They didn't play that.

I had my baby with me at Lowes the other week and some frail old lady with a huge Rottweiler was strolling around with the ****er leashed to the chair. I told the manager yo, those breeds went through hundreds of years of selective breeding to be *******s but I guess store policy says you can bring dogs to the store.
I said **** that, I'll buy **** from amazon.

If I ever saw a dog mauling a kid I'd just go primal. Doesn't even have to be my kid.
It's not worth someone living a lifetime with disfigurement or injury. Just kill the mutt. I'm a dog lover but you gotta show them their place.

It remains to be explained why pitbull owners appear to be disproportionately chitty. It isn't the media. Either the breed is incredibly difficult to raise or owning one is a strong predictor of being a potato trash human who can't raise dogs - or both.

A pitbull raised properly will be no more dangerous than a small, docile dog. I'm more afraid of a chihuahua than I am a pitbull (srs).
...............
You only hear about it because the media makes pitbulls out to be the devil. They get ratings. Pitbulls are fantastic dogs when raised properly.

Just saw your other response, and yes, I've been around properly raised pits. We live within 100 miles from each other. My buddy's dad has a big ass pit farm, basically. He sleds them, trains them etc. He puts out great dogs, but pits are still far more dangerous than any other breed.

Speaking of sledding pitbulls, this rocket scientist taught his pits to pull him like a dogsled and follow his jogging wife.
You can guess what happened when their instincts kicked in.
Fair warning, it's disturbing.

The only "rottweilers" with bad temperaments are poverty "American rottweilers" which are weird looking 56% mutts and about as selectively bred as the average American.
German breeder dogs have to pass government regulated temperament testing before they're allowed to breed their dogs, that actual "selective breeding" means you can fire a gun next to a real rottie and it shouldn't react.

I hope he comforted her afterwards.
In all seriousness though I'm not big on the suing culture in America, but obviously something needs to be done about this.
Edit: sorry I missed that she was petting it. Unless she had permission its the parents fault.

Working dogs come from select breeding stock for temperament/personality and rigorously trained. And not just anyone can have one.
These “emotional suport” animals are basically someone’s pet, usually owned by some train wreck with more issues than Vogue Magazine.
I feel bad for the poor kid. Parents fault for not teaching child not to touch someone’s dog, working animal or not, as much as the pet owners fault for bringing an animal that’s not trustworthy into a public place.

Its a beautiful black long hair GSD so my dog gets a lot of attention. There is a kids area right next to the fenced dog area so as i was walking in a bunch of kids ran up to my dog which was no big deal he is trained and friendly. So i just had him sit and he was chilling while he got surrounded by kids and this one kid decides to try to round kick my dog (luckly he missed)... i got my dog and immediately and left from that day forward i dont let anyone near my dog. Have had hbb's ask me if they can come pet him and i am like nah i am training him right now.
parents who put their kids at risk deserve a chewing out, did you tell the kids parents they were worthless?
I had one little kid in a store try to pick up my girl, his mom laughed it off and said "oh he does that with our dog all the time"
Lady this is not your dog, your kid is going to get badly hurt grabbing strange dogs around the chest. Just because mine are infinitely tolerant of non threats doesn't mean other dogs are.
Most people can't even get their dogs to sit or drop a toy, never mind train them to ignore potentially stressful strangers, it's just a matter of time before these kids get badly hurt.

Fuk man... I really like pit bulls and love dogs in general but some of these stories really get to me, especially considering how many of them there are...
I think it’s ridiculous to ban a dog, but I think we might be getting to a point where some sort of measures need to be taken... fuk... kills me to see a little kid attacked like this.

Pitbulls if they attack will cause 10x more damage then if a golden retriever attacked. I think there should be training courses and some kind of permit needed to own a pitbull same as if you wanted to own a hand gun. Give a ****ty owner a weaker small dog and the risk is lower, give them a power breed whether it is a Pitbull, German Shepard or a Rottweiler the risk is far higher. But since 2 of those 3 examples are very expensive dogs to purchase you won't see them as much with awful or low income owners because no bad owner will spend $1000.00 or more for a certain breed, they will spring for the cheap option, the Pit bull.

not really fair to put a pitbull on a plane with people who may have anxiety about that kinda chit. i know my mom would freak. it's not the same as if someone brings fuking lassie on the flight with them.
i don't even care if you're a pitbull person, you know it's not the same.
what if i wanted to bring my emotional support ak47 on the plane with me? it's not a problem, i'm a nice guy.

Had a childhood friend growing up who had a pit since it was a pup. Sweet dog. Always let me pet her with no problem. I'd stick my hands through the chain link fence and she would always lick me with her tail wagging 1000 MPH. Never showed signs of aggression.
Then one day I noticed she wasn't in my friend's backyard anymore. I asked my friend where his dog went, and he said they had to get rid of her because she got loose and mauled their neighbor.
I know it's just anecdotal, but stories like these are far too common. Pits are too unpredictable.
