Anti-Vaxxer kid speaks to congress about how stupid his mother is

https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article...er-anti-vaxxer

TFW you are so dumb your kid has to get himself vaccinated and publicly speaks out about you essentially being an idiot

"Jill Wheeler, did not immediately respond to BuzzFeed News' request for comment but told Undark that her son’s decision was “like him spitting on me, saying, ‘You don’t know anything, I don’t trust you with anything.'

Hmm I wonder why he doesn't trust you

The one thing I'll never understand about people basing things off what they hear on the internet is how they can't just use it to find actual research/data.

I give zero ****s about the whole vax vs anti-vax thing, but find it funny people are so 100% adamant that they know the absolute truth. Not that hard to pay for dodgy/frauded science papers for either side. If you have a vested interest and unlimited money you can come up with as much science as you want.

The problem is that the people claiming it causes autism have zero scientific evidence on their side.. In fact this goes back to the beginning of vaccination. WIB Beveridge wrote about the irrational fear of vaccines back in 1950.. This crap has been going around for over a hundred years with no evidence.. The evidence is that vaccines are largely safe and have eliminated a lot of diseases.

Fukking LMAO @ big pharma cucks like OP not even questioning the massive scale of this kid's news coverage. There are millions of 18 year olds going against how their parents raised them on many issues but this one kid with this one issue is suddenly turned into a poster child.

I don't believe it causes autism but I do believe vaccines often make kids sick in general after they get shots and getting sick all the time as an infant or toddler can't be good for you long term. Also keep in mind many statistics don't get reported because of vaccine court and confidentiality agreements that are signed when settlements are reached.

There's no absolute as like basically anything in life there can be a chance of something not going as expected. Disregarding modern medicine based off social media stories though is being an idiot.

This.

None of us know whether vaxxing is safe or not. But blindly following others and refusing to question the status quo, and then proceeding to get butt hurt when others do, annoys me. Ask yourself what is to be gained from anti-vaxxing? and what it to be gained from vaxxing everyone? one makes a small group people people very, very rich.

Your post doesn't make sense. Kids do get sick a lot in general because they are building their immune systems and people may notice it more around shot time because they are thinking about it. Children build their immune system over the years by being exposed to virus, fungi, and bacteria and getting sick..

I 100% want my future kids to get sick with the common stuff when they are young so they don't have to deal with having a chitty immune system when they are older. Go eat some dirt kid.

You know there is one person left on Earth in an iron lung due to polio?

I haven't looked into it. There are probably scientists who disagree though.

Okay, thanks. Why don't they just compare autism rates in vaccinated vs unvaccinated populations? Has this ever been done? Without a doubt they would have data on this to check up, or just look at Amish populations?

I'm for vaccinations as they've almost completely wiped out diseases that have killed hundreds of millions of people like:

-Polio
-Small pox
-Measles
-Diptheria
-Hep A & B
-Pneumococcal
-Whooping cough
-Meningitis
-Mumps

"b-b-but it might cause autism in an extremely small percentage of children!"

Guess what, dumbass, A) we have no proof of that, and B) without these vaccinations, your kid would probably die or be permanently disabled from one of the diseases above.

The benefit CLEARLY outweighs the cost and anyone who thinks otherwise is an idiot of the stupidest order.
Always Neg Back Crew.

lol I thought you were a science guy. They can compare similar populations of the same ethnicity and location if they want. Then if, for example, they looked at the data of unvaccinated kids living in Chicago and found they had the same rates of autism as vaccinated kids living in Chicago, then it would be telling that vaccines don't have an impact and another factor is the likely cause. If they compared the populations and found that the rate of autism in unvaccinated was 1 in 10,000 verse 1 in 50 for vaccinated, then that would be statistically significant, don't you think?

So, you really don't understand what correlation is?

What you just stated is NOT how a scientific study is conducted. While that may be interesting and might give some clues or insight, it doesn't do anything to support or negate a hypothesis..

Who knows. My point was there is a chit load of money to be made via selling vaccines vs no money being made not getting vaccines. As someone pointed out earlier, science can be manipulated to make others money. Also consider the state of adults today, fatter, sicker and fraction of the T levels of the past.

Also, My parents often bring up me as an example of vaxxing. When I got mine as a baby, I got quite sick and was never the same after.

Of course there are always going to be exceptions. The same thing happened to a friend's sister, and therefore they recommended the friend not receive vaccines in case of a genetic component. For the vast majority, however, vaccination is perfectly safe with no lasting impact.

The only raw reality of science is that on statistical average a majority of people can take vaccines safely.

That DOES NOT mean every single child will have no potential for being affected or even changed emotionally.

But the bigots and retards want to act like it’s a closed case.

It’s not a closed case and the amount of side effect reported on social media are alarming.

Anyone who hates on anti vaxxers and people who harbor a healthy fear of capitalist/mass interests vs individual interest is a bigot and pseudo intelligent pig.

They need to stop acting all hard until they can prove vaccines have ZERO risk in all children otherwise stfu.

What makes it sick is they act like they have the notion of mass illness prevention on their side. They don’t. Polio and ancient disease doesn’t exist or thrive anymore but autism increases every year.

The onus is on them to explain all the weird side effect parents report.

If you’re paranoid about “non vaxxed kids” then keep YOUR kids in home school. Don’t try to make people feel like they are playing Russian roulette with their child’s energy balance levels.

It’s not ok to hate on vaxxers and the way they are trying to educate is wrong.

Since you changed your entire post, I'll respond to this one as well.. This is better and would possibly support a hypothesis but it would not negate a hypothesis.

So you ignore everything else in my post? Like the other guy? Just lol @ the cognitive dissonance.

I'm asking science questions because I don't know, and you guys are pretending like you do but honestly don't know ****.

So to the part you ignored, why don't they just compare similar population groups? Eg. vaccinated white middle class kids living in Texas vs unvaccinated white middle class kids living in Texas. Then they could do it across the country to increase the sample size while comparing similar population groups. This has honestly never been done? And you guys have never thought of this? lol.

I'm not some antivaxxer lunatic but one point i can see and understand is the concern with byproducts in the actual vaccine. it's not the vaccine, but the trace levels of arsenic, lead, etc from the manufacturing process that could be present.

And you guys have never thought of this? lol.
You completely changed your post..

Not sure if serious. This will never happen with any medical treatment. Not possible.
