Its not that weird for indians. They are heavy into their chit, a lot of families wont even allow their children to marry anyone but indian. If they do allow them to marry outside their race, if they have an indian style wedding the make the outsider wear their style dress for the indian wedding. Probably a lot of UKers in there. Of course England and India share an extensive history. There's over a half million Indian UKers in London. They aren't as weirded out (compared to western slide into the dumpster) as far as family traditions go so there's that.
