Don't be deceived, you will reap what you sew.

If you have manipulated people and lied to them for your benefit, you have no right to expect anything better. You have no right to complain.

Adults deal with the circumstances, and learn and adjust and overcome.
Children fall down, scream, cry and throw a fit to get their way.

Its your choice how you deal with things.

Once upon a time, the Deenur worked as a dishwasher at a major hotel chain. I was scheduled to work Thanksgiving weekend and got some sickness, vomiting and fever. I called my boss to tell him I was sick and he told me there was no one to cover. I was going to stick the one other guy with all the work. I showed up, handled only the dirty dishes (my co worker got the clean ones and put them away), threw up into the garbage can multiple times while working and finished my shift.

Don't tell me you can't do it. People are astoundingly resourceful if we want something bad enough. The "want to" is usually the issue. It seems like that is the great disconnect of our current time. Plow ahead and don't let anyone tell you that you can't.

Showed up sick in a close quartered room and handled dinnerware (More clarity needed, did u clean the dishes then hand them off?)

I know what you’re trying to say though.... we usually only push ourselves at minimum to mid effort when we have potential for greater effort.

Co worker handled the dishes after they came out clean. I stayed at the dirty end of the dishes stack and only worked that side.
No touchy clean dishes.

It doesn't matter what anyone says about you.
Not mom or dad, boss, brothers, sisters...
What matters is what you say about you.

Remember Rocky said:Nothing is real if you don't believe in who you are.
Movie quote yeah, but true words.

Its tough if you feel like no one has your back.
Be comfortable in your skin, with your goals.
You do not need to be approved by others to have worth.

I'm not sure what the question is:
Are you saying you are an arse? A sociopath? Dark Triad?
What?

I'm more ambitious than my fam. Entire fam just wants to stay close to "home" and appease parents and in-laws. Despite hometown's inevitable downhill slide. They are all people with integrity and good values, but don't have a growth mindset anymore. I do.

I feel guilty about it sometimes.

Happy is not a goal. Happy is a feeling, which is a by-product of achievement.

Satisfaction comes from setting goals, crushing goals, and profiting.
Satisfaction can contribute to happiness.
Remember these things.

Any woman you can keep around strictly on the basis of money, is not a woman I would want to keep around.
I don't care what she looks like, if that's all she's about, it ain't worth it.
