My parents are the opposite, they preach to me that ''money is everything'' and ''you have to make it in life'' and they send me videos about ''how to become wealthy''.....my parents are obsessed with money and are highly materialistic, it's sad. Oh, and they get sooooo angry when I mention verses where Jesus condemned materialism and how the rich can not enter the kingdom of heavens, and the parable of the rich man

23Rejoice in that day and leap for joy, because great is your reward in heaven. For their fathers treated the prophets in the same way. 24But woe to you who are rich, for you have already received your comfort. 25Woe to you who are well fed now, for you will hunger. Woe to you who laugh now, for you will mourn and weep.…(Luke 6:23-25)

Because I don't have the creativity nor entrepreneurship to make it big. The other avenue is 100 hour work weeks and I'd rather live off benefits than do that.

Lack of ideas
Lack of know-how
Lack of drive
Lack of resources

I'd say my main overarching problem is that I am generally a lazy kent. I'm not as bad as I used to be, but it seems to be a quality that's hard-wired to some degree.

This. And I was born in a 3rd world country. I am doing good I think. Was able to buy a small place for me and a car, pay bills, buy ****s I enjoy(video games, clothes, etc), vacation here and there. But nothing grand. My parents are getting old too, cant leave them. My bro and sis already left for greener pastures. I am taking care of parents.

Also, I didnt go to work even if I got a new promotion, and I know why...

He is right though. There's a threshold between financial success and life fulfillment. I guess there are a few options, I mean if the pay difference is drastically different you would obviously just grin and bear it knowing you can retire even earlier. But if the pay gap isn't massive I would always pick the more satisfying job for physical and mental health reasons. Who cares how rich you are when you're just waiting to die, you need to enjoy life in your prime. It's always a balance, those who work themselves to an early grave are just as ignorant as those who think money cannot by happiness.

-investing takes a long ass time
-ironically my job is preventing me from making it. I can't start a legit business since I wouldn't be able to work on it full time. I'm trying to do something part time, but it's taking forever to get going. And I don't want to quit my job without another source of income

My early twenties were a waste of fuking time, had retarded dreams like wanting to be a musician or before that an mma fighter lol. Spent everything on green lettuce and tinder sloots.

Been into the money mindset the past year, started with real estate as a side hustle, was lucky that my grandpa left me a house and I'm getting paid around 1.5k euros a month from a dude that rents it out as an airbnb and manages it.. I want to learn from that dude how he does it exactly, then get a loan and buy another house and do something similar except I manage it and get everything for myself. If it works out then buy more property, maybe look into student housing and other affordable property. I'm still very inexperienced in this area, wish I had a real estate mentor that would teach me everything

Because of my morals. Srs. I was mentored by people who make 5 and even 6 figures a day. Didn't want to follow in their footsteps, because their tips and suggestions were not in tune with my beliefs. They'd teach me to lie to customers and that doing porn methods was alright. Maybe I had bad examples, but I'm not about that hedonistic lifestyle, Jefferson.
