If you don't like that, don't get married. Srs. It's right up there with guys who put their live-in girlfriend's name on the deed to the house because "she does so much" and then can't believe she fuarks them over even though they paid for everything. If you couldn't live with it, you shouldn't have done it.

I think miscers think Bezos owned 100% of Amazon stock and she got off with 4%.

It was a 75/25 split and she retained 4% of Amazon stock worth $35bn. It's not that hard to understand.
Also so many assumptions being made about their marriage and how much that is worth. Absolutely pathetic and missing the bottom line.

While her raising their kids and taking care of the house is admirable, lets not pretend that she was the one flying around the world making multi-billion dollar business decisions that that led to the company's success.
I agree that he set himself up with owing her that much by not establishing any sort of pre or post nuptial contract when he was busy working 80 hour weeks running the business, but lets not kid ourselves that she provided $35 billion worth of support.
I could be missing something? In the age of hyper feminism I'm sure her contributions to the business, outside of raising his family, are posted online, if there are any, but I haven't seen any.

But again, he set himself up for that payment, and like another poster said, he's lucky he didn't have to pay more since he had no prenuptial. I have no disagreement that she wasn't legally due some crazy large payment due to the legal situation he put himself in, but that doesn't mean she 'earned' billions.

Unless I'm missing something, it has zero relevance here. Are you saying Makenzie saved Jeff's business by contributing money she earned working outside jobs to his business? If so, proof?

I think it should work both ways but it always ends up being a one-street of unfairness. I especially think anything BEFORE a marriage should be 100% off limits in any settlement. It even gets worse, in some countries there is "no fault" divorce. Your wife could go out and get gangbang creampied by the local hockey club, decide she doesn't want to be married with you and still be entitled to the same benefits.
Marriage is nearly a win-win for women in most countries but you never see feminists raging about this type in inequality. Some of the real-life judge rulings I've heard are worse than Hollywood horror movies. Truly revolting.
Most of the laws are outdated as well and haven't been updated from 40-50 years ago. Laws that actually served a purpose back when women had little income/spending power, so back THEN it was justified security. These days a woman can do whatever she wants if she has the ability but still gets to be protected by these laws? Yeah, zero fuking sense but they say nothing because it means more power. Every politician and male in power are too scared to call out these laws.

Family court is definitely bias to woman but this isn't the case here, I love how people are arguing about this when they both settled quickly out of court, mess free without their kids involved and are most likely happy with the results and can go their own way

They met and married before Bezos came up with the Amazon idea, they both quit their jobs, founded it together, and worked on it together (Mackenzie was one of the accountants and was involved in business decisions as well).
After 25 years of marriage he cheats on her - with a slag -, they go for a divorce, and she takes 25% of their shared stock, while waiving all rights related to the Washington Post and Blue Origin.
So why are we supposed to be outraged?

That bald ugly looking **** got off easy...his wife is 100x hotter then him and got w him when he was poor..he should be lucky that he got to slay any poonam when he was broke .
Here is why he got off easy..
First of all shes been w him since before he even had the idea to start Amazon.
Second she actively helped him with the business since the day that he was doing it out of the garage and she supported him struggling through it. Most wives would have told him to get a real job. She only pulled back and let him do his own thing when it started becoming mega company.
Third and most important of all he is the one that cheated on her and he is the one that asked for divorce. Not to mention he cheated on her with an uglier married women and a known Sloot who has been around the block.
If anything she let him off easy...she settled on 34 billion when she could have and frankly should have gone for half considering the dumb **** cheated on her.

To me, im not saying mackenzie isnt worth that much. When i first heard the news i thought shed get half. She also could have dragged it out. But its funny how they come to 35 billion.i get that amazon is ridiculous..
But take another divorce where a woman stayed through a struggling business and her tribulations arent worth 35 billion
So, objectively speaking 35 bil is a weird # to come to. And lets not pretend like shes been living in squalor for the past 10 years. Im sure shes been living a life of luxury for a while
Again, my statement is less toward this particular situation, but others whom actually struggle with a failing business and dont receive 35 bil in compensation

For all we know Amazon may have never existed without the emotional, financial and logistical support of Bezos wife, that is a woman you want to marry and by your side, not the gold digging hoe he cheated on her with.

The very idea people are "Wow he was lucky it could have been worse" just shows you how long this bullsh*t has been going on. Divorce/family court laws need updating and I am well aware it will never happen in today's current Western climate.

Lol @ the Yahoo headline
"Jeff Bezos's wife gives him 75% of their Amazon stock and voting power in divorce"
In what upside down world did SHE give him 75% of HIS company.
