I say Rey is Luke and Leia's daughter. You know he smashed that coked up space princess. Makes Rey a Skywalker and explains her derpy face.

They should end this saga with Rey getting spit-roasted by Chewy and R2 while 3PO records like the cuck he is.

100% they will try some twist. The movie title is for sure used to throw off people into thinking she's Luke's father, doesn't make sense to have a huge major spoiler right off the bat.

This movie is missing a great lightsaber battle tho.. that's one quality of the prequels that I thought made up for a lot of its mistakes

Exactly, that's why connecting Luke with Rei makes no sense...... connecting Rei with Leia is something most wouldnt see coming...... Maybe Leia went slooting around behind Han's back?????

It's a pretty cool theory. Whether it's enough to redeem things in the eyes of fans, after the clumsy storytelling over the last two movies, is another thing entirely.

This WILL be a kids movie. Do not go in thinking about lore, subtle **** like character development, and brace yourselves for every emotional moment to be broken up by 3-4 corny slapstick jokes to correct the mood.

I remember getting very excited for TFA because of the trailer, and TLJ trailer still gives me chills. They both sucked as movies though and I've become completely pessimistic about this title after them.

Wish star wars could have escaped that, since its an amazingly imaginative world and has great potential for deep more thought provoking stories, but the reality is it will most likely never be more than a child's movie that punishes you for thinking about it too much.
