I guess what Im confused about is how does Rey have such elevated levels of micichlorian if she is Han and Qi'ras daughter? Whats the connection? Is there a known link between Qi'Ra and the force or the skywalker family?

At the end of Solo, Qi'Ra was a Sith apprentice of Darth Maul. She would be good Jedi material from her parents.

Despite the awfulness of TLJ (didn't even watch Solo) with JJ I'm hoping its at least as good as Force Awakens. Lets face it no SW movies were ever going to be as good as the OT. Palpatines laugh was legit though. BRB coming hopefully steal from legends and he comes back as Clone Palps and just reks shop.

cant watch this SJW Disney series. After #7 i was disgust. skipped #8 completely. They are trying HARD to appeal to blacks, asians, and women so that they can sell more toys and other BS to a larger market.
Lucas did it with 1 & 2 to appeal to kids and make more money. He already went this route and Disney is just better at the liberal agenda BS so they took it to a whole new level

It's already beyond fuked. Luke is dead, Han is dead. Leia actress is dead. Snoke is dead. Rey has been OP since the beginning and never went through any loss or struggle or training. Not a likeable character. Kylo is a whiny bitch who lost twice to Rey already. They're bringing back Palpatine in the last movie out of nowhere, such is the desperation. That's zero development of the supposed final end boss.

Finn started off with potential but his character went to chit too. What is there to look forward to besides a fan service to Palpatine at this point? Am I still supposed to be afraid of Kylo after he got his chit smashed in for both previous movies? Again, where does the story go?

It's not just that TLJ was trash. See my post above. TLJ basically closed off any epic potential storyline from happening at this point. Who is the main villain this time? A new guy? In the last movie??? But like who cares, we never saw Palpatine interact with any of the new cast so there's no excitement to see our heroes get their revenge and Palpatine get his dues for being a kunt to them

What I'm saying is this seems to be a stand alone movie which sucks as it's supposed to be a climax that the previous two have been leading up to. Snoke should have been fully developed and risen to ultimate power at the end of the last movie so we're invested to see how the story ends. This new movie seems like yet another stand alone film where they're just introducing new characters out of left field.

It's so dumb.

Seriously, besides the cool action scenes and a chance to see Palpatine again, is there anything story wise that you're excited for?

I think you're right. i don't think they would kill off Kylo, so it's probably some redemption arc, a la the OT movies. Palpatine somehow survived, and is/was pulling Snoke/Kylo's strings all along. Rey convinces him there is still good in him, they team up and battle Palpatine.

I just saved everyone $15 and 3 hours of their time.
There is simply no other exercise, and certainly no machine, that produces the level of central nervous system activity, improved balance and coordination, skeletal loading and bone density, muscular stimulation and growth, connective tissue stress and strength, psychological demand and toughness, and overall systemic conditioning as the correctly performed full squat.

There's ZERO point in watching this movie without them retconning and recasting everything. Even then, 3 hours wouldn't be long enough to undo all the bullchit.

What a fukkin disgrace.


Palpatine coming back makes no sense what so ever. He's a band aid to make up for RaeJay handing the mary sue the rulers of the universe on a silver platter in the theatrical equivalent of a play ground fight. If they brought in someone unknown, then there's no guarantee he's even relevant because if Rae so much as farts with 89 degrees of their direction then they're dust in the wind. They had to recycle a past villain to make it look even partially integrated.

What chit tier writing.

Yoooooo fuk this movie. Kathleen Kennedy and RJ ruined this franchise, they pretty much disrespected and bitch slapped every loyal star wars fan with the TLJ and even the solo movie. Everyone saying they enjoyed the Solo movie, go fuk yourselves. They completely ruined Han Solo, the main actor in solo didnt even try to act like the real Han. And wtf Han was young during the first trilogy, there was no need for a back story.

What they did the lukes character is unforgivable. They bring all the old cast back but dont even give the Fans 1 scene with Luke, Han and Leia, and then kill all of them off. What a joke, why bring fan favorites back to make them all look like chit. Even Admiral Ackbar, we dont even see him die. Like wtf, and then Leia is flying through ****ing space, she must be the most powerful ****ing jedi in the galaxy. And then Rey WHO HAS NO FORMAL JEDI TRAINING, man handles Luke Skywalker who was ****ing trained in an entire film by Yoda and had his own jedi academy. The fuk man. And dont get me started with the terrible choreographed fight scenes with Rey, where the ****ing enemies literally stand there and wait to get hit by her.

DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE IN THEATRES. I hope they do ****ing terrible and fire Kathleen Kennedy as CEO of lucasfilms, the only way ill ever ****ing watch a SW film again

#7 didn't bug me at all, even tho it's silly when you start seeing 1 actor for ever minority group. Because then it's obvious it's more about identity politics than making a setting for your movie.

Like I never thought about it twice during Rogue One, but that's the major complaint from people. Episode 8 was just a terrible film all around.
