Blame the russo bros for ****ting on Waititi's story. He shouldnt need any weapon, we learnt that already in ragnarok. We also learnt that Thor finally took up to the idea of being a leader and king for his people. 5 minutes into IW literally undid all that lmao by killing pretty much everyone from asgard LOL. Then the mess in endgame about him being depressed, then giving off asgard to Valkyrie. Made no sense whatsoever from what he learned in Thor 3.

Same thing with Cap America. TWS+CW was an arc about him letting go and moving on. Now he goes back in time to marry an old ex-gf. In the meantime his old buddy bucky is receiving 70 years worth of torture, watches hydra infiltrate shield and also lets bucky kill Howard Stark and his wife? Are you joking. The ending was total sh!t for his character. There's no way Steve would sit by and let all this happen. This doesn't even explain the fact he hooked up with his niece or that nobody knew who Peggy's husband even was.

Only people who enjoyed this are the casual fans.

Just finished it like 40 minutes ago.

Honestly, I wasn't that impressed but I can appreciate how hard it is to incorporate so many characters and stories so don't want to be too harsh. Also not sure if it would have helped but I remember reading after Infinity War that they'd use Ant Man to go back in time and Captain America would probably stay back in time so that didn't really shock me.

I'm also on the train of hating the lack of Hulk fighting in these two films - I know he didn't get any individual films in this series but he still was a big part in so many films and he didn't really get any actual action these last two films, he was more comic relief than anything. I also thought the Hawkeye story was odd - even before the time jump they were saying how much he has changed, 5 years later they go back to him and it takes one sentence and some hand holding to get him back.

I didn't see Black Widow dying as she has a film coming out but fair enough, never really thought much of the character anyway. Her using her martial arts to kill the aliens in Infinity War always seemed dumb to me.

Felt like that whole film I was just waiting for that final act to start and when it did with all the heroes returning it felt like chit was going to go down, but then it just fizzled out. The fight scene in Infinity War had much better and memorable moments, i.e. Thor's arrival. I was just waiting for Hulk to Hulk the fuk up and have something similar but nada. The only cool part was everyone arriving

Anyway think I will slowly bow out from these films - you can see what direction they want to take and it's not for me. The new phase heroes haven't really captured my attention either.

I'd give it 7.5/10

Unless she’s alive in the soul world or something, having a Black Widow solo film now is retarded. I would have loved one back in phase 1 but doing one now that is presumably a prequel in phase 4 makes no sense. My interest level couldn’t be lower.

Pretty sure I heard Scarlett say in a interview last week she’s not interested and making a black widow movie, she said “it’s to much work”

It would be a prequel with a different actress, but I doubt they make it

Disney/Marvel was unable to go by the comics because they didn't have the license to the appropriate characters to do so. If I recall it was Mr Fantastic that helped create Ultron and Hulk didn't just "run away" at the end of the movie he was banished by the other superheroes to that planet in Thor Ragnarok which very loosely tied into the World War Hulk Saga.

besides its better that they create their own story so the nerds who have been following the comics since the 90's won't spoil it for everyone.

Hank Pym is the one who makes Ultron in the comics

Underwhelming, but to be honest I knew what to expect from this movie.

Wish it most of the heroes would have stayed dead

wish it wasn't a happy ending(Yes,I know technically not happy since a few people died)

Felt extremely underwhelming compared to Infinity War

It is what it is though enjoyable movie don't expect anything else from it.

Disney is not going to give up on billions of dollars. Though infinity war is better, this is the second best among the 4 avengers movies. Can a mod say if it is ok to post spoilers itt?

I know, but I already knew the dead guys would be returning. I was hoping they would throw a curveball at us and killing off at least two of the main three heroes but guess not.

I wouldn't exactly say it was a happening ending, it's not like they went back pre-snap to when the world was all normal and functioning. People have been gone for five years and suddenly society needs to adjust to that again. It would cause complete and utter chaos adjusting to billions of people suddenly reappearing.

Did they defeat Thanos? Yes. But in a way, the heroes still lost.

Honestly this thread was doomed from the start. It's full of pussbois and nitpicky neopolitical fuking retards that are trying so hard to find a political reason to be pissed off at the film. I like it as equally as Infinity war. It had a different tone and it was it's own entity. People that think this and the last avengers' movie have to be identical are just autistic. The writing was on point and the action towards the end definitely was worth sitting around and laughing at good ol' Marvel jokes and banter. Seeing it all come to an end did hit me in the feels because i grew up with these films for the past 11 years and I dont think any of us to have even predicted how epic the story arc for the 4 Avengers movies would play out. Marvel and Disney did a good job here for me, but since Im not some bitter right leaning retarded doomer my opinion means dick.

The movie, as it stands on it's own, isn't the right perspective to look at it. It would be long and mediocre with a lot of things that don't make sense.

If you've watched and enjoyed the Marvel movies as they've come out over the years... it'll be far more impactful. No movie series has ever really existed or been created that's like this. It's the culmination of 10 years of associated films. The character moments mean a lot more if you've been with them as they've developed over the years.

And for those reasons I think it's a good film, a fitting end to a series. Typically the "final film" is never the strongest. It's rare to see sequels in a series get better over time, so many failed examples of this happening. The only one that jumps to my mind are James Bond and the Happy Potter movies, which DRASTICALLY improved over time.

I honestly don't think we'll see anything like this saga for a very, very long time.

If you were an 8 year old when you watched the First Iron Man you'd be 18 now watching End Game. That 18 year old will have a much stronger connection with the characters and lore and chit than someone who's just waltzs into the theater and then complains because they feel no emotion over scenes that are suppose to be emotional.

On a different note:
Spoiler!
I'm kinda bummed they killed off Thanos because his character....at least his Infinity War persona....had so much potential to be a an awesome anti-hero, who would perhaps make the occasional cameo in future movies. However, they changed his personality to more of a generic villain for this movie which was kinda annoying but it therefore gave justification for killing him off.
Spoiler!
no he is not a generic villiain, he wanted to recreate life all over, thats not what a generic villian does. He understood that he had made a mistake by decreasing populations and leaving behind people with the pain, he had one of the best character developments from infinity war to this movie
