Finally squatted 6 plates!

The red ones!

705 @ 222

I’m old so I compete in open so I’m against the 24 year olds and sub-masters (35-39) and the sub-masters WR is 694.

I might compete in a couple weeks but have someone very close to me that is sick so I can’t commit because I have no clue what’s coming.

Anyway, happy Saturday ya silly geese.

Thanks man. As Kyle says below, I don’t have a coach or a program...I’m
Not a good reference for how to do this other than the mental aspect of training.

Yep, I just feel like a full training block is a chore and as I’ve said on IG, I will auto-regulate everything. Last night I was driving from my hike to visit family and knew we were stopping at my bro’s gym in the vid. I had 683x2 in my head all day but 672 moved so well as a warmup I said fuk it and went for 705.

LMao this loser again

Have you not seen what happened to Ronnie Coleman, spinal surgery, that will be consequence of you lifting heavy.

Whats the point in having a hobby that is going to greatly destroy your quality of life in the future.

Start painting on investing your time in coding....... lift light-moderate weight to maintain a good aesthetic physique and stop being a nonce

a series of short tasks over a relatively longer period of time is life. altruistic light moves under the cover of your own darkness.. find this inner torch bearer and accompany them to the end. we all walk together, but we all walk alone. there is no understanding or purpose beyond that

I totally know what Bobby means by it being a chore to stick to a program, after meets I usually wing it for a couple months before moving into a more set schedule and that is probably the most fun I have training even though I'm not hitting PRs at that time.

Bobby also has a crazy work schedule and travels a lot so his style of training works really well for him and he's smart enough to know when to pull back and push forward. I just know personally I wouldn't be able to handle that consistent level of intensity for that long without running myself into the ground. I really wish I could though lol it's awesome to watch progress that consistent.
